The buildings of the city have reached all over to the sky, that some small alleys won't ever see the sunlight in their lifetime.
"The city looks pitiable from here," I thought with a sigh, gazing outside at the concrete jungle which was shining brighter than the sky, through the office's window.
"Sir, did you call me for me?" Joy said, closing the office's door after her slowly.
"Yes I did, Ms. Joy," I replied, turning around.
"What're you doing here?" she asked, with a pale face swallowing hardly.
"You can call me sir," I replied, shifting to my chair.
"Your resignation letter, I prepared it for you, can you sign it?" I asked, sliding the letter towards her.
"I'm not signing it," she replied, looking directly at me.
"Then, I've no choices rather than calling the police," I replied, knocking on the glass office's table with my knuckles.
"Go ahead…," she continued, with a sigh.
