Clashes

Her perfume was still the same.

"What're you doin?" She asked, shifting away with widened eyes.

"Don't you like this," I mumbled, meeting her gaze, shifting my hands away from her face.

"No it's-its not right," she replied, looking at the floor.

"I just thought we're equally hurt or happy to see each other," I replied, putting my hands back in my pocket.

"Look Adam, you're engaged and I'm not going to be a homewrecker, I have destroyed mine and that's too much pain to take trust me," she replied, biting her lips nervously.

"Well, you me the one," I replied.

"She was the girl who made me do every bad thing she's bringing the evil in me," I thought, gazing at her.

"Well, I assumed wrong," I replied, with a sigh.

"Did you think I regretted letting you go, but I'm sorry, I didn't," she replied.

"What?" I asked.

"Of course you're a reasonable person, I'm sorry I got it wrong," I replied, swallowing hard.

"I think I should-d go," I stuttered softly.
