Tuesday 3rd Of September

Mould clutching in the room as if it's an infestation taking over like a wild beast, the dust settling into it's new home, wallpaper torn and scratched up. Looking up at the celling was even worse than you could ever imagine! the cracks were dug in deep, the light pulled down that the wires dangled like snakes. The girl stands in the middle of the room getting dressed, a small girl named Jade Fend putting on a long sleeved shirt, long black trousers, dark red jumper and blazer, and she looks into her microscopic mirror that was hidden under her bed along with a sharp grey blade. Her eyes were faded green, curly brown hair just past her shoulders, had a nice golden brown texture to her skin and their was no doubt that she was underweight.

Outside the class she takes a deep breath before walking in, holding onto the door handle but before she could turn it, it twisted and pulls open taking her with it, "Sorry." timidly pushing her hair back behind her ear as she looks up at the person, he nods and walks out. Pushing the door completely open she finds Katie at the back of the class with a group of people. Her faded green eyes dialect, curls sways just below her shoulders and she smiles kindly towards them brushing her fingers along her golden brown skin taking the strand of hair off her face. "Hey... Katie? I'm not feeling too good today I'm going to skip shopping today." Katie turns her head throwing her whole body forward, dropping her long blonde hair to her knees while her legs hang on the table she flutters her thick eyelashes showing off her light blue eyes. "Oh Jade! We need to go, I don't want to go home early." Jade weakly smiles, "I'm sorry, I just can't." Katie pushes up off the table, "I guess if you don't want to... I shouldn't force you." She brushes past Jade to her seat, Jade looks to her and shrugs. "Don't be mad?" Katie sneers, "Nobody's mad..." Jade sits in her seat in excruciating discomfort.

The bell rings for break, Katie rushes out with Emily, Kiera and Jade. "Jordan!" He looks over with his 5'9 body towering over all the girls, Black hair, he was white with tanned skin and didn't look like a fighter but his dark blue eyes said otherwise. He strides over with half his uniform untucked, "Yeah?" Katie looks up smiling, "What do you mean yeah? Hang out with me." He shifts his eyes away from her then puts his arm around her avoiding the others surrounding her. "I got fights to plan, if you don't need me then I'll see you at lunch." She removes his arm from her shoulder and pushes it down roughly, "Well I know what's more important now, don't I?" He leans in to kiss her and she takes a step back, "Jade! Let's go." She walks quickly away into the bathroom.

All the Year 9's go to I.C.T, R.S or Art. "I don't see why she has to be so needy, I'm tired of it." Jordan says while watching students walk into his lesson, "You have the most popular girl in the school, she's a bitch but she likes you... Why are you complaining?" Jordan laughs hitting him in the arm, "She wants my status not me, so what does it matter if I hang with her or not, it's just dumb." His friend slumps his shoulders and he pulls his top down straightening himself for the girls walking by, his curly black afro bounces back up into place, he looks outside and the light shines into his light brown eyes turning them yellowish, he creams his dark brown face and pulls Jordan away from the door. "Preston don't drag me, I swear to you I'll floor you. Your not much bigger and an inch smaller, I won't hesitate." Preston laughs and his teeth are fresh white.

The queue for lunch was hitting the corridor, Jade sat at the table stirring her food in circles. "Jade! Don't do that, it's starting to look gross." Jade places her fork on the table, Katie rolls her eyes and looks to Emily. "Can you go find Jord- Don't worry he's here." Jordan walks over to the table with Preston, "I have a match today so I can't come shopping with you." She dismisses him, "I'm not going today so I'll come." He laughs and she looks at him as he sits down. "You don't need to be there." She leers, "Fine, then I hope the other person wins, or better yet... you get caught." Katie swirls her legs round and walks away in a rush, Preston sits in her seat and shakes his head while stuffing his face.

It's the last lesson and Preston walks in late to Mrs. Carter's lesson late, "If you can't make it early on your first day back then why should I believe you want your Math's grade? Explain to me right now why I should let you take a seat Mr. Hilch?" Preston rubs the back of his head, "Well I guess because I need to actually be in here to learn it, and if I miss a lesson I won't know what I'm doing tomorrow Miss." She points in the direction of his seat and he presses his hand on his head and salutes her as he walks to his seat smiling, beside him at the back of the class was a girl talking to herself, tucked under bright blue hair and when she looked up over at Preston she shielded away shrinking in embarrassment.

In the school grounds Katie stood with Emily by the stairs of the main school door, "I'm telling you she's getting worse, I want her to pay for my things! She's doing this on purpose, I knew she was a rubbish friend." Jade opens the door slightly, "Her mother doesn't even want her in the house so I don't get what she's doing, she's got no other friends just look at her..." Katie rolls her eyes and carries on, Jade walks down the steps and her eyes start to water. "Jade... what's wrong?" Jade puts on a brave face, "Why are you even asking? Since when have you ever cared about anyone but yourself?" Katie looks around, "I'm confused." Jade laughs and nods, Jordan taps Preston to watch. "Well of course you don't! You can be bitchy behind my back but why can't you do it in front of my face! Don't wimp out say something." Katie shakes her head and folds her arms. "Oh please what could you do, your fragile little bones would break and then it'll be my fault." Jade holds onto her bag tightly and in a moment she whacks her in the face and runs away out the school, Jordan was shocked as he slowly backs away and runs after her. "Jordan?" He smiles back at him and carries on following her. "You run fast for a short girl!" Screaming out of breath, "I'm 5'4... your just tall." He smiles, "I'm Jordan-" Jade smiles, "I know who you are, Katie's boyfriend, I hang out with her... well use to." She steps backwards, "Did she send you?" He looks at her, "No." She watches his movements then quickly runs to the train station, she walks in and stands on the platform out of breath. "I can't believe I just did that..." She walks forward, "She's going to kill me." She stands on the yellow line, 'Platform 3. The train will be arriving. Please stand behind the yellow line while the train is at it's stop.' The seconds slow down, as she walks forward without nobody noticing, she closes her eyes and let's go of herself. Whoosh! "That's not the smartest idea." She opens one eye then the other, "What-" He holds her closer and removes her further away from the edge, "What exactly was you trying to gain? You hit her with your bag. You didn't kill her, you understand that right?" She nods sluggishly, "I gathered I didn't kill her, but it's not the reason I was going to-" He interrupts. "To jump... Not an ideal death, you could still survive, considering your luck, I'm guessing you would have survived." She pushes him away, "This is my train." He smiles seamlessly, "Can't jump in front of it now plus I need this train to get home." She looks at him angered, he smiles back at her kindly.
