Taylor wakes up and walks down stairs, she sits opposite her mother at the table. "Where's Papa?" Her mother looks away from her book, "Downstairs working on a science project." Taylor gets up and her mother stops her, "Honey, don't distract him, he's busy. When he comes up then you may speak to him." Taylor nods, "Ok, Ok Mama." Taylor sits back down, "So tell me when you're going back to nursing?" Taylor's mother kisses her on the head, "Soon honey." She walks out the room and Taylor just sits there, She looks at her phone and messages Rilie. 'Hope you will be in Monday, worried about you.' She stretches on the chair and drops her phone as she gets up but her father grabs it, Taylor looks up quickly startled. "Papa? Let me help you on what your working on." He pats her head, "Taylor I want you to, so once you get your degree in science you can join me in the lab." Taylor looks at him with disappointment, "At least tell me what your working on." He grabs food from inside the fridge, "Let you know when I actually finish, it isn't completed yet." Taylor nods and watches him as he rushes down to the basement, Taylor stares at the basement then slowly walks up the stairs to her bedroom. 'Jade we need to go out one of these weekends.' Taylor sends the message then lays on her bed, Her mother knocks on her door and Taylor let's her in. "Sorry I didn't answer you earlier." Taylor smiles and invites her in, "It's just, since Papa's got a new job I guess I'm finding it harder out here to get a job at the moment." Taylor hugs her tightly, "Mama, it's alright. I know you love helping people, and I just know one of these hospitals will be begging for you to work with them." Her mother smiles softly and kisses her forehead, "Hopefully, since we moved so far away I figured it'd be easy to hired with my experience, just guess I'll have to wait." Taylor smiles cheerfully and her mother gets ready to leave her room closing the door behind her, Taylor crosses her fingers. "Mama will find a new job, she's amazing at what she does." Closing her eyes and whispering to herself.
