Arc 1: Chapter 1

Castiel coughed, Eyes glinting dangerously

he took in his surrounding. He was currently

at the middle of an abandoned building, sitting

behind a flipped desk. He thought that the

original was probably hiding from something.

His current body is Bastian Valentin, an actor.

He was a very popular one at that. The world

he was in is currently in an apocalyptic phase.

The humans were no longer the predator. The

animals turned into man eating species. The

dead did not remained dead for too long, They

started changing and turning into something

that craves flesh. The world is currently

purging the toxicity of its inhabitants.

Bastian Valentin is now in an abandoned

factory, hiding behind the office desk. He was

supposed to go to his home when suddenly,

chaos and madness descend. A dog suddenly

turned crazy and started attacking the people

around it. All the animals run wild, biting and

eating the humans they come across. The

people bitten convulsed, then started to turn

into a living dead.

Bastian did not panicked at first, he had

bodyguards to protect him well. however,

having a bodyguard Is not enough. They started

being killed and turning into monsters one by

one until no one was willing to protect him any

more. Some of the bodyguards left, leaving Bastian alone.

Bastian ran by himself, fending and

fighting for survival. He felt lost and unable to

accept the situation the world was currently in.

That was until he met Martin Arden. A soldier

from the military base camp not far from the

city he currently resides in. Bastian saved

Martin from being devoured by the night

walker. A night walker is an infected

that has the ability to see and move at night. Normally,the undead seems sluggish at night. probably due to the fact that the muscles of their body starts to harden due to the cold temperature, as well as the fact that they don't have their senses except for their sharp hearing.

Apparently Martin led the nightwalker away

from his bestfriend and his lover. Both civilians

and apparently "too weak to fight". Martin

saved the two, saying that they'll meet at the

camp, believing that it should him who had to

sacrifice. Martin was supposed to die but

Bastian, unable to watch just like that, decided

to save the man.

The two became friends and made a name for

themselves. During this time, the humans

also started to change. there's no such thing as

super powers and magical elemental abilities.

What changed is their physical prowess.

The humans now have a Superman's body

instead. They can fight with their physical

body alone.

Bastian and Martin are also one of those

evolved human. Both able to fight continuously

for days without rest. They returned to the

military base camp where Martin was

supposed to be.

There, they were welcomed with such an

enthusiasm, they felt It was unreal. However,

they learned that they were now famous for

their outstanding fighting prowess. Thus , they

were entitled for such grand welcome.

There, Bastian also met the lover, Eusto, The

man simply looks petite. Bastian felt that he

can probably snapped the smaller man's neck

with just his hand. Eusto is the best picture of

a twink. It might sound offensive but it was the

truth. The man has light blond hair, Light brown

eyes framed with such thin yet dark lashes. His

nose cutely looks upturned and his lips the

color of strawberry. His skin looks so pale and

soft, it almost made him look sickly. Standing at

5'6, Bastian had to lower his head slightly just

to meet the others eyes. Eusto is the cute type. The one to be protected in a group.

In short, he looks weak.

Then, He also met the current son of the heaven, Allen.

The man is tall, almost reaching Bastian's

height. He has bronze skin, black eyes, and

handsome countenance. He looks like an

exotic model. The type of man, categorized as

tall dark and handsome. He's the typical alpha

male type.

The two were currently standing at such close proximity, it made you question who's the lover

of who?

Bastian felt that the two seem intimate.

However he stopped thinking any further,

Martin explained that the two were close

because Allen is an adopted brother. Besides,

he had no interest in such issues.

The four of them decided to team up. Every

week, the people at the base needs to gather

supplies and take on missions assigned for

points to buy materials and rent for the homes

allocated. Living at the base is not for free.

They took in missions that seems impossible

to accomplish and each Time returned with

success. Eusto learned how to survive as per

Martins teaching. And Allen seems to finally

become a superhuman just like the two.

Bastian felt that it's good to have such a team.

So he let his guard down.

One time, they had a mission. It was a mission

for two teams to work together. Eusto

suggested to team up with a lieutenant, Along

with four others.

The team seems friendly. They laugh, joked

and even talked about Lives.

and that's what led Bastian think that they're

such a good people. Unable to really defend

himself from the betrayal after the success of

the mission.

Bastian died, he was thrown as a bait. He was

eaten alive by the undead, unable to fight

because his limbs were cut off. It was so painful

dying like that. Due to having a super body,

his regenerative ability is much higher than

normal humans, he heals while being eaten

then he died a miserable death. The sad part is? He wasn't able to protect his only friend Martin.

Castiel blinked, truly surprised at the mission

interface. It was such a simple mission, it

almost made him think that it was a bonus

world.

- able to remain mysterious despite the

changes of emotions and feelings. Used to hide

and mask one's weakness.

- storage in a dimension created by the

system to help the host store miscellaneous

materials, as well as artifacts from a world.

Castiel stared at the gift pack, eyes lingering at the storage space item. " Such a good gift" Castiel whispered, his voice had a smooth and sexy baritone, it can make the listener turn soft just from hearing it.

He really felt satisfied. He stood, patting his clothes as he walked towards the exit.

[Where are you going, Host?] System 25 mechanical voice ask. It watched as its host walked without a Care in the world. His gait filled with such lazy elegance, it made it think

that this world is simply a walk in a park.

"Going to find Martin. Wouldn't it better to follow the originals memories? Why make things harder when there's already a well laden path to take. " Castiel answered, hetero chromatic eyes, one blue and one hazel green, filled with mirth. "Now, let me see how much interesting this world can be."
