Reward!

It's Christmas holiday after their first term exam, and Takashi is dating Yui today.

"Hey,Takashi, how's your exam?" Yui asked.

"Quite good, at least better than I expected." He said

"Really? what's your score?" Yui felt curious and asked

"Um.... I got 70 this time, how about you?"

"I got 89 this time, better than I expected too." She said

"Wow! I think I will never beat you then."

"Eh?......." Yui seems to be a bit disappointed.

"What happened? why are you sad?" Takashi felt confused.

"Nothing, I am just afraid that you won't try to race with me anymore. I mean, it will be more fun if you always challenge me......"

"Of course I will continue, cause I know you enjoyed it so much."

Yui smiled after she heard what he said.

"Then, how about if we have a race now?" Yui asked.

"Ok......" Takashi is actually a bit confused as he didn’t want to lose.

"So, what are we gonna race for?" Yui asked.

"How about a guessing game?" Takashi said.

"what are we guessing for?"

"We will walk for 10 minutes, and let's see how many Christmas light decorations we can see."

"Sounds great, let's go then." After that,she immediately grabbed Takashi's hand and started to walk.

While walking~~~

"Hey Takashi, is this our first time that we walk together under the Christmas decorations?" yui asked.

"Of course, this is my first Christmas with you." He smiled and said

Yui blushed.

"Do you enjoy it?" Yui smiled and asked him. Like a naive little girl asking questions.

"Of... of course....." Takashi was getting a bit shy because of Yui's cuteness.

"I am glad to hear that,by the way Takashi, I think we have just passed through some lights."

"Eh??? Yui, you tricked me again!!!!"

"Same old Takashi." Yui laughed.

"...... " Takashiknew that he would lose again, but he had nothing to say.

"Ok, then, it's 10 minutes already, I have finished counting, how about you?" Yui asked.

"Umm.... Uh..... yeah, I am good." Takashi replied, but actually, he knew that he missed some of them when he was talking with Yui earlier.

"Then, make you guess."

"I think there are 9." Takashi said.

"I think there are 10." Yui said.

"They walked back to the place where they started, and started counting together.

"1...."

"2...."

"3...."

As they kept counting, Yui suddenly told Takashi something.

"Takashi, if you win today, I will give you the reward today."

"Really?"

"Yes, hope you will like it."

Takashi was so excited, but after he remembered that he missed some of the Christmas lights , he was out of hope.

"Oh, this is the place where we have passed through the lights." Yui said.

"Oh I see......" But when Takashi looked at the lights, they were only normal lights shining in the street.

"Eh? They are only normal lights?" Takashi asked.

"Oh, I didn't notice." Yui said.

After a while~~~

"9! And this is the last one" Yui said excitedly.

"Yui........"

'Whats the matter?" Yui asked.

"Why did you let me win?"

"Hehe... you found out.... Actually, I want to give you the reward today, that's why I let you win." She said.

"Promise me, next time, you will try your best to beat me." Takashi said it seriously.

Yui looked at Takashi's eyes , and knew that he was serious this time.

"Ok, I promise." Yui smiled and said.

"That's great."

"So! Let me give you the secret reward now!!!" Yui said it excitedly.

“Oh that's great!" Takashi said

"Close your eyes Takashi."

"Why?"

"Just do it."

"Oh ok...." Takashi is a bit confused, but feels excited.

And then, he felt something soft…

around his neck.

When he opened his eyes, he saw a scarf around his neck and Yui's neck.

"Wow, Yui, did you make it by yourself?"

"Yeah, is it good?" She asked.

"It looks so good , and so warm."

Takashi hugged Yui tightly and said

"Let me share the warmness with you."

Yui blushed, but at the same time she was very happy.

"By the way Takashi, what do you expect me to give you before this?" Yui asked.

"I thought you were going to give me a kiss.... hehe....."Takashi said it shyly.

"Kissing you is not a reward, cause I can do it anytime." After she said that, she kissed him, and Takashi blushed.

"Hey, Takashi, how about we keep on walking like this?"

"Eh? But there are many people here, they may look at us if we use the same scarf."

"But it's warmer, isn't it?" She asked.

Takashi thought for a while....

"Let's go then." Takashi smiled and grabbed Yui's hand, and they kept on walking under the Christmas lights until the day ended.
