If you actually asked me 2 days ago what are you going to do..

I was going to say anything..and I mean anything other than this...

Me standing in front of the mirror wearing this black A line/princess scoop nick dress to impress the Knight's that are sitting out their with the rest of my family..



Yep..!!

Not only did I actually agree to the marriage..

And not only did the whole two families out their feel an overwhelming feeling about this..

But they decided to invite the rest of their families and friends to make this offical..

And Yep..!!!

I'm so screwed..!!!

I took a deep breath trying to stop all beating in me..

I'm supposed to walk out of this door and pretend like I'm the happiest bride alive..

With a wonderful handsome young husband and a beautiful dress with all the attention on me..

Pretend that I'm love blind by Hazim and eveything..

The only problem is that none of that is true..

NONE OF IT!!!!!!..

yet I still have to play along..

Uugghh Lord..what did I get my self into!?..

Being in love?

Do I even know how that feels so that I can at least pretend to be so?!..

I shook my head realizing that this is not my problem to deal with..

Elijah said we're in love..then let him deal with it..

I've got enough aches inside me..

I looked up again at the door as soon I heard the door open..

"Come on..everyone's waiting for you down stairs.."

Lily..

I gave her a small smile...

She looked at me with happy eyes..

"I just cant believe that you actually was dating someone for 2 months and you didn't even tell me..!!"

Yeah..I didn't know either..can you believe that?!..

"And someone like Elijah?!..girl you won the lottery!!!"..

Ohh..

You have no fucking idea..

"I mean what are sisters for?!..how can you hide this from me?!!?.."

My mom's voice behind her interrupted her and caught our attention..

"Lily..enough of you punishment to her..her ears are already full with yesterday's talk.."

That's so true..

"Uuggh...I just cant suck up the fact that my baby sister is getting married before me..like seriously..your breaking our sisterhood rules here.."

My mom laughed saying

"And what are they exactly?!.."

"Her doing things before me..um don't know like maybe marriage!?!?.."

The happiness was written all over my mom's face..she always did wish to be a brides mother like all her friends at a point in her life..I guess I'm fulfilling her dream..

"Amal you need to calm down..your making my baby bride more nervous.."

"Oohh she should be..she doesn't know how many people are out there waiting to see the amazing Jasmine.. a soon to be a Knight..

And suddenly you just hear my mom's slap on her shoulder and both their laughter..

I mean..who am I to kill this?!..

They seemed so happy to the point that they were encouraging me to do this for them without even knowing..

I already said yes..

And dad and Iden said they will announce the wedding date at the end of this get together..

Yeah I think my life is just a toy in between others hands.

There is no way out of this but pretending..I need to act happy in love and nervous at the same time..

Well at least one of those feelings are true..

But I have to do this..

To protect moms smile and my family's happiness..

But most importantly..to save the company from falling apart..

I need to prove my self..

I need this..

Even if I know I cant do it..i need to believe that I somehow can..

I stood up from the chair I didn't even remember when I sat on it..

Mom and Lily we're probably talking about one of our relatives when they noticed my movements..

The way she said "are you ready dear?"..

Told me eveything..

I need to pull this..

I shook my head informing her that I am..

She smiled a heartwarming smile

"Okay..let's get this party started!!"..

I could hear Lily's excitment in her squealing girly tone..

Okay..you can do this Jay..I know you can..

We walked out of the room and headed towards the stairs..

Mom and Lily were both three steps ahead of me..

The minute I stood and faced eveyone..

Everything went silent..

I mean everything..

Perfect..

Attention..the thing I feel uncomfortable with the most..

For a second I just wanted to RIP this dress off and be like "to fuck with all of you and what your doing here..go fuck off because there will be no wedding.."

But unfortunately..I just held both my hands tightly walking down the stairs with the dramatic entrance they all wanted...

I could hear people whispering how pretty I looked..

Young girls saying how lucky i am to marry Elijah..

Men saying that Elijah got himself a fine young lady..

Old women saying how I was a small version of my beautiful mother..

Every comment was floating in the air around me..like it was something that just had to happen when I come around since I'm the center of attention this time..

once I got of the stairs everyone came to congratulate me with different greetings..

Why are we doing this get together again?

ohh right because this is just old business ways Dad and Iden are using..

Ohh man I didn't even know half the people that just showed up in front of me..but I just shook my head...hugged those who came for one...smiled like my jaw is going to drop if dont do so..I even got a couple of kisses from the aunties here..

I shook my head and bowed to the men who also followed to greet me..

After what felt like hours..

My eyes finally fell on someone they actually recognize..

Elijah..

He was wearing a white shirt with black Jean's and a small tie around his neck..his hair was up and even though it was obvious he wasn't trying his best to look good..he looked perfect..

Who wouldn't think I was a lucky girl after seeing this..

He was standing beside two guys who seemed to be at his same age..probably his friends with a cup of water in his hands..

He was staring at one of the two guys with the usual look I saw in his face last time..

Cold sleepy eyes...

You'd actually think he isn't interested at all at what that guy was saying...

But the laugh he let out after a short while would collapse that all..

That guy is...

Different than anyone I've met before..

Wierd in a way..in his own way..

Something that was off..but on within him at the same time..

He felt like the rain that hits your skin lightly with the sun still being in the middle of the sky..

I must've been staring too long because he turned right at me after a few seconds..

When his eyes lay on me he smiled and walked towards me..

My eyes were locked on his until he was standing right in front of me..

-"come on..there is some people I need you to meet.."

And here we go..!!!

He put his hands on my back gently..guiding me through most of the people who were staring at us..some of them seemed like...

Umm...

like they don't believe what their seeing..that thier trying to adjust the fact that we are together..

And as much as I try to recognize some of them..I just can't..not one of those people were from my side..

We stopped in front of the two guys he was standing with..

One of them looked just like him..only with a bigger jawline and darker eyes...

Must be one of his siblings..

The other one looked slightly different...

Hazel eyes and brown hair...strict jawline with Curved hinge just like Elijah's..only more notable in him..he gave me this boyish smile with his hands out to greet me..

"Hello.."

I greeted him back with a welcoming smile and the other one also..

Elijah spoke up pointing at the one that looked like him and then the other...

"This is my older brother Allen..and this is my best friend Austin.."

Brother..best friend...

My smile grew wider..

"Hi..its nice to meet you two.."

Austin spoke up with that smile

"And its lovely to meet such a beautiful woman like you...I've heard so much about you.."

I rose both my eyebrows trying my best not to look shocked..

"Really?!.."

Allen shook his head saying..

"You look prettier in person.."

I laughed a little with what he said repeating him "in person?..wow did you see lots of photos?.."

"Not much no..we really wanted to meet you in person but he seemed to be not wanting that.."

Both Allen and Austin shot thier gaze at the voice that just joined behind me with me and Elijah both turning behind us..

He was a young man...seemed to be about thier age...

Blond hair grey typical eyes...

He looked so normal to me until he smiled..

What is it with the smile in those people?!..

Even though he looked so much different than Elijah..something in him seemed like he was family..

It seemed more like blood..

When he stood in front of me with his hands out to shake mine...I greeted him with the same smile..

"And now we know why..damn your so beautiful..."

I don't know if it's because the makeup or dress or the fact that I'm the bride..I've been called beautiful today more than I have in my whole life..

I couldn't help but smile at his words..

"You need to stop flirting with the bride before he gets all fired up now.."

The guy laughed at Allen's words saying

"But it's the truth...really.."

"Still..you can't say that..you'll piss him off..."

"Yeah remember what Allen did to your friend that was flirting with his wife?.."

I looked at Austin when he said that..

Allen and that guy both laughed at probably what seemed like a blury memory..

"Yeah..but he deserved it because he was flirting with her in front of her husband and brother.."

My eyes shot more open when he pointed at Allen meaning the husband and himself being the brother..

-"this is Jordan ..My older cousin and Allen's wife's older brother.."

What?

What does he mean by-

"Farina Is adopted,she doesn't have the family's name that's why.."

Ohh..

He's words were more understandable now

o"she was adopted in her teenage years thats why.."

I looked at Jordan once again when he spoke..

"But it doesn't seem like Elijah the kind to feel jealous you know.."

And with that..

We all looked at him..

He took a sip of the water in his hands and looked at us with cold eyes...

So much for dealing with it..

"See..told you..I mean you dont know how shocked I was when they told me that the great Elijah's was actually getting married.."

He took a sip from his drink only to finish his sentence..

"And just so Suddenly without a heads up like this.. I thought it was the end of the world.."

We all laughed at what he said.. ofcourse all of us expect Elijah..he shot him this 'your so fucking dead if you don't shut ur mouth right now' look that I'm pretty sure sent shevers through everyone's body..

Everyone's attention went to all the woman and men that came from outside the door so suddenly with happiness all over there faces...

My dad was at the beginning of all of them with someone that was highly likely to be Ibden

They were coming back from the court..

My dad spoke up to get everyone's attention..

"May I please get your attention.."

Everyone was silent..

"We have decided the wedding day after discussions with the lovely couple.."

What ?..no one talked to me about any date..

"We set it to the 2nd of August next month.."

My jaw fell open..that's in a week!!!..

Oh.My.God!!!

"and we are happy to say that we are back from the Mosque and...um how do kids say it these days?.."

Ibden spoke for him..

"We tied the knot.."

"Yes we tied the knot..I am very happy to finally announce you two husband and wife.."

I became officially married...

" I would proudly like to announce that we will have the official wedding in a week.."

And by that,only a couple of words I transformed from being

Jasmine O'Brian

to being Jasmine Knight..!!!
