Two boys, Ersel and Lino, were childhood best friends for three years. One day, while Lino went to visit his grandparents with his parents for several days, Ersel suddenly goes to Manila with his parents without even leaving a word or letter, making the former sad and angry. Back to Our Paradise

Van and Lino just got out of the police station after bringing the stranger there and having him arrested by the police. 


[I really thought I was done for that time.] Van thought in relief while remembering the time when the stranger pointed and poked a knife threateningly at the former. Then he looked at Lino and thought, [If it wasn’t for this guy, I would have gotten either seriously injured or killed. But still...that doesn’t change the fact that Ersel and I are still doing whatever we can to find out who he is. But for now, I’ll just make friends with him to get a step closer to our goal.] 


“Thanks, man,” Van said while grinning and offering to shake his hand with Lino. “I really owe you for saving me. How should I repay you?” 


Lino grinned gently, shook hands with Van, and replied, “You’re welcome, man! There’s no need for you to repay me.”
