Two boys, Ersel and Lino, were childhood best friends for three years. One day, while Lino went to visit his grandparents with his parents for several days, Ersel suddenly goes to Manila with his parents without even leaving a word or letter, making the former sad and angry. After waiting for some time, both Ersel and Lino were finally able to board the next jeepney. 


[Yes! Here it is! Finally!] Ersel and Lino thought simultaneously before boarding the jeepney. 


Lino made sure to not sit himself beside Ersel; instead, the former sat on the other bench so that he would be able to observe the latter from nearby. This way, Lino would know where and when Ersel would get off from the jeepney. 


Once the jeepney became full, a collector of the passengers’ jeepney fares came to charge each person a total of twenty pesos each. 


After paying his own jeepney fare, Lino remembered to check where he already was as well as check his girlfriend’s messages. 


[Oh, right.] Lino thought before getting his Android phone from his pocket. [I have to check my location using Google maps. Also, I have to see if Pia had messaged me.]
