Two days have passed. It was already evening, and both Ersel and Van were inside a car with the latter as the driver while they were waiting for Lino to come out from his apartment. They were both waiting for Lino to follow him to his house in Bacoor, Cavite. 


“I’m still feeling nervous about this, Van,” Ersel said anxiously. 


“It’s alright, Ersel,” Van replied in a reassuring tone. “I’ll do my best to make sure that he won’t notice us.” 


“Thanks, Van,” Ersel replied while grinning. “Anyway, I hope it won’t be too long before Lino comes out.” 


“I think he won’t,” Van answered seriously. “Xavier said so himself via Messenger that Lino already went back to his apartment after their drinking session.” 


“That’s great!” Ersel exclaimed happily.
