Two boys, Ersel and Lino, were childhood best friends for three years. One day, while Lino went to visit his grandparents with his parents for several days, Ersel suddenly goes to Manila with his parents without even leaving a word or letter, making the former sad and angry. Back to Our Paradise

That afternoon, after their classes, Lino and Xavier headed straight for the former’s apartment unit so that they could start working on their project. Once they were inside, Xavier tried to look for possible signs of proof about who Lino was, yet he could not do it fully with Lino watching him. He had no choice but to sit down on the couch for the time being. Furthermore, he saw that there were shelves that were laden with some books. 


[I have to try it once he goes to the bathroom or the kitchen.] Xavier thought decidedly and determinedly. [I can’t let Ersel down since we both agreed on this. Also, I have to prove to Van that I’m trustworthy enough for this mission!] 


“Hey, man, I’ll be preparing some food,” Lino declared after putting down his bag. “What would you like to eat?” 


“Anything is fine, dude,” Xavier answered while grinning in a friendly way. 


“Okay. I’ll be cooking some instant noodles then,” Lino said with a smirk and a nod. “Please just wait here.”
