"Don't give up.", she whimpered to herself. She couldn't stop herself. She had to help. Without even realizing she was heading towards the front pushing all the obstacles on her way.
"What do you think you are doing?!", one of the students in the crowd enquired. "Helping! Better then nothing.", she replied. "Hey!", she yelled at the three puzzled boys on the stage.
"We are sorry but as you can see we are kind of busy right now. ", the one playing the drums replied. "It's alright!", she exclaimed. "What?", the one holding the drumsticks enquired.
"It's alright to make mistakes! Just never give up and start all over again!", she replied. "Don't stop. Keep on playing!", she shouted.
"She is right!", the one playing the guitar exclaimed. "C'mon boys! Let's hit it!", he cheered them up.
"Where are your screams, everyone?!", she pointed at the crowd. It was the first time she had done anything as crazy as this.
She was the kind of girl who could never see people around her suffer but never in her craziest dream would she have ever imagined that she would confront a big crowd and yell at a band who had messed up with their song.
Soon, it was time for the classes. "Hello everyone! This is the semester where you guys will be exploring yourselves and find the way where your heart leads to.", a lady in her late twenties stated.
"Since this is a new surrounding for you all. Take your time to look around the campus.", she added. "Hey! I'm Mia.", a girl seating beside Yerin introduced herself.
"Hey, I'm Yerin.", she replied. "I like your hairstyle.", Mia praised her.
"Is it? I don't think so but thanks anyway.", Yerin appreciated her. "You were so cool back there!", she exclaimed.
"Not really. I just couldn't stop myself. They seemed so puzzled.", she replied.
"You're so cool. Everyone else seemed like they couldn't do anything.", Mia said. "Always remember, helping is always better than doing nothing.", Yerin said as Mia nodded to indicate yes.
"Plus what kind of band forgets about the chord or tuning in the middle of a performance?", she wondered.
"This has never happened in the past. Maybe they were nervous.", Mia concluded.
"By the way, have you decided on the club yet?", Mia enquired as they were roaming around the school during break.
"We have clubs?", Yerin asked her. "Of course we do!", Mia replied. "Well I'm not so sure about it.", Yerin said. " Maybe you should join the music club!", Mia suggested.
"Ah really? And may I ask you why did you come up with such a conclusion?", Yerin enquired with a sprinkle of chuckles.
"You know how to play the guitar. So, I'm sure you will be a great singer!", Mia replied. "Woah! Stop the bus, what makes you think that I'm a great singer or I can play the guitar?", Yerin enquired.
"Just a women's instinct", Mia replied. "No way! Believe me, my singing and playing both sucks." Yerin said. "Sure. Sure.", Mia said as they both started laughing.
"What took you so long?", Yerin enquired as Mr Lee was ten minutes late to pick her up. "Traffic.", he sighed.
"Fine, fine. Now let's hurry! Mom will reach home at any moment.", she said as Mr Lee helped her get on the car.
"How was your day? Made any new friends?", Mr. Lee asked her. "It was kind of weird. I did make a friend though.", she replied.
"Weird in the sense?", he enquired. "Don't even want to mention about it, believe me.", she replied.
"Mr Lee, lookup for a boy band named FULL.", she demanded him. "Here you go, F.U.L.L which stands for Fail Update Link and Live.
It was formed two years ago. It consists of three members, Seojun Lee, Won shik Park and Young Soo Kim.
Won Shik is the leader of the band and also he is the lead singer who plays the guitar. He is best known for his unbelievable looks and IQ.
Seojun is the drummer of the band and best known for his flirtatious status and divine looks.", he stated from his tab as hacking anyone's information was a piece of cake for Mr Lee.
"He is a champion for playing the drums in unbelievable ways. Young Soo plays the piano and he has also won many awards for his piano playing skills.
He is most famous among the older girls for his irresistible cuteness.", he continued as he handed over the tab to her.
"Ah I see, but what kind of a singer can forget about the keys and chords entirely in the middle of a concert?", she murmured to herself. "Did you say something?", Mr Lee enquired.
"Hurry up or else mom will kill us both!", she exclaimed.
"You're late.", a lady in her late fifties said as she was in Yerin's house, sitting and drinking tea.
"I'm sorry ma'am. It was completely my fault not young lady's.", Mr Lee apologized to her as he stood in front of Yerin.
"Accepting someone else's fault does take a lot of courage.", she smirked as she took a sip. "I'm sorry, mom.", Yerin apologized to her.
"Here is your form for physics and maths cramp school.", she said as she handed over a form to Yerin.
"But.. it will be held during the club hours.", Yerin murmured to herself. " Did you say something?", she enquired.
"Nothing. I'll fill it up and submit it tomorrow after school.", Yerin replied. "Do it today. No time to waste.", she said as she left the house just like a gust of wind.
"What about your club?", Mr Lee enquired. "Not in this life.", she replied with a spark of a laugh.
Since she was a little girl, her destiny was destined by her mother, Mrs Hana Baek, the CEO of Baek Industries which ranks first in the country.
It was crystal clear that Mrs Baek wanted Yerin to be the successor of her company but with power comes responsibilities.
Ever since she was young, she could never express herself in front of her mother. She would obey whatever her mother would tell her and would ace in everything she would have learned.
"Mr Lee?", Yerin enquired. "Can't sleep?", Mr Lee approached Yerin as she was gazing at the stars on her balcony.
"Everything seems so dull.", she sighed. "You know what? Your destiny and your dreams, everything lies in your grip.", he said.
"My grip?", she enquired. Mr Lee nodded with a warm smile on his face. "After all, I decided to be your butler at the age of sixteen.
That one decision changed my entire life.", he continued. "Did you ever regret it?", she asked him. "A lot.", he tamed her. "Excuse me? Serious mode on!", she demanded.
"Sorry, sorry. I could never regret it. After all, it was my decision. I was prepared for all possible outcomes and this one turned out to be the best.", he said.
"Even if I can go back to that time, I would never change it because I can never leave you.", he said as he patted her head.
"Stop it! It will ruin the hairstyle!", she yelled at him. "Is it? Too bad that's what I was aiming for.", he said as laughter had filled the whole surrounding with comfort and warmth.
"I will not join clubs. I'm sorry, ma'am.", Yerin bowed at her homeroom teacher as all the students were submitting their forms for the clubs, they wanted to join.
"Yeah.. I got a call from your mother but is this what you want?", she enquired.
"Yes.", Yerin replied. "Alright then. ", she said as Yerin headed out of the teacher's staff room. "In my grip? I wonder what I want to do.", she enquired as she headed towards the terrace.
"You can never be satisfied, can you?", Yerin heard a high pitch voice as she was gazing at the sky on the terrace.
"How can I when there's a whole set of amazing offers standing right in front of me?", the voice seemed unbelievably similar to her.
"You are a jerk, aren't you?", it seemed as if she was interrupting a sweet moment of making out between two people.
So she had decided to leave but right at that moment, "I love you, Seojun!", the name which constantly came out from the crowd, earlier seemed as if she had heard that name before.
She could have never thought that this was a name, she could never erase from her mind even if she wanted to.
