We didn't even enter the house yet, and already we can hear the loud yelling of Deena and her father arguing. Why is he picking a fight with her already? In truth I never liked Mr. Avens. He would control Deena's every move. Not gonna lie he kind of scares me to the point that I stopped going to Deena's place when her father was around. Whenever Dee's dad leaves for business trips that's when I find it safe to enter her home, which is a total bummer because her little siblings are so adorable, and her mom is super cool.

"So who's gonna go knock on the door?" Asked Mari.

That question sent shivers down my spine. I assume that the others felt that too since none of us wanted to just knock on the door in the middle of a fight.

"So who's gonna do it?" Repeated Mari, more demanding.

"Why don't you go and do it Mari?" Requested Vee.
