Geography and planning

Karsus was a city on the edge of the Avec Kingdom, it was well located. Farther south, according to the map provided by Rhicina, was the port city of Kolpesh, one of the most important in the Kingdom. Travelers talked about its unimaginable beauty, it was said that the city was the meeting point of four countries and its culture was very diverse, the elves, dwarfs, beasts and sea creatures walked side by side there, even some dragons and phoenixes Thoroughbreds rarely appeared there.

It was said that it was a hybrid city, as it was in contact with the sea, half of the city was submerged and there was trade in marine beings. From there there were ships that took them wherever the sea reached, except enemy countries, of course. But the city bordered three other countries.

The Dwarf Union, the Elven Isles and the Maritime Cities. That's why several of the inhabitants of these countries gathered there. In the books, accounts tell that the city had a unique architecture that was a mix between buildings made of plants for the elves, wrought metal for the dwarves or corals for the underwater.

East of the city of Karsus it was possible to find the limestone desert, a poor and dry land, full of dunes formed by white sand that reflected the sunlight and made the place even more hostile. It formed part of the Avec Kingdom's border with the demon Empire. These were lands of the Realm itself, but even the demons were not keen to claim a poor land that could not be exploited.

There lived only nomadic tribes, fugitive criminals, or bestial clans suited to this habitat, such as the snake-man clan, to which Tyris was a member. This was where they intended to go first, to free the snake woman back to their clan. As Nicola had promised to her when they first met.

To the north was his second destination. The Kitsunes mountain range. After arriving in town and updating their medals easily at the Guild, Nicola took them to an inn, where he had Kin and Gin rent a room for a few more days. Having such a powerful dimensional artifact, it was unnecessary to reserve rooms for everyone, after all they had personal spaces inside.

The money Nicola invested in obtaining this Gold Level artifact was indispensable to maintaining a quiet life and developing his research.

After all that, the group was seated around a round table inside the main tower. The central space within the space artifact had become a small village with five medium-sized houses around the gray stone tower, which now had 12 floors.

Behind the table was an announcement panel, where a more detailed map of the surrounding cities was placed and some information Nicola had decided to buy, about local customs and forces. At the table, the three fairies hovered as they chanted spells and used earth magic to create an embossed map of the Avec Kingdom and light magic to recreate holograms of cities and important places with their names floating in white letters above them.

"We are here!" Nicola pointed to a medium-sized town that bordered the forest. "Twenty days from now, we're off on a trip to the limestone desert, that's where we part Tyris." He said pointing with his other arm.

"Thank you Nicola, I will be forever grateful that you rescued me and set me free." The snake woman said with tears in her eyes, which were wiped away by a small snake that broke free of her hair and took the tear away.

Nicola nodded before continuing "But before that we will stop at the City of Uglitch" He pointed with a third arm, the city was between the city of Karsus and the desert.

"Why do we stop there master?" Kin asked, Nicola knew the young man was excited to get to the desert quickly. He had heard rumors that the desert had dangers and mighty enemies to face. Nicola didn't remember when the golden boy had become a battle junkie.

This time it was Tuatha who answered. "Young Kin, Uglitch is a key city for us. Nicola is in need of materials to build his own strength and this city is where we can find many building materials and other types. He had talked to me before, and we decided to focus on producing as many pills and artifacts as we could and put them up for auction. The entire two months we spent here upon arriving at Avec Kingdom were spent producing these things."

Kin looked around while everyone nodded as if they already knew that, even his sister, Gin nodded. "I produced several pills myself during that time." She pointed.

Kin only concerned himself with training and fighting, normally these matters would not be picked up by his ears. He looked back at the group with a puzzled grimace that made everyone at the table chuckle for a moment.
