Thunderstorm (Part 2)

Nicola thought for a moment about the principles behind it, but then necessarily that it was useless. The ability was the result of the bloodline's innate power interacting with the element. No matter how much he thought about it, he wouldn't be able to reproduce the same skill to the same degree as her, well, at least not in such a short time of analysis.

So he took a step back instead of worrying about it. There was a whirl of lightning before him, so there was no reason to attempt a melee. The lightning was quick and powerful. In a magical battle, there were few attributes that exceeded radius.

Then why ...? '... Worth trying?' After the many fights he'd gone through, Nicola was convinced that the warrior before him, Brianna, didn't feel as strong as his previous opponents. However, a comparison was not so good. He had fought many times with strong people and beasts, including demon warriors and traditional mages, but this was one of his few times fighting a real warrior who focused his improvement on the aura of battle. Space began to distort at the midpoint between the two.

The power of the silver level cultivators was enormous, both of which can be described as 'one-man armies' collided and created a storm that hit spectators several hundred meters away. An inevitable storm. One person threw lightning while the other produced a whirlwind. The battle between the elements was enough to be called a natural disaster.

"Now then…" Soon after, Brianna held out her hands. "... Let's start!" Nicola responded by holding out both hands.

Kwarururung... Kwakwakwang!

As a blue bolt shot forward, a wall of red flame blocked it and there was a magnificent explosion. 'That punk, did he respond to my coup?' 'What is this ridiculous launch speed?' They both thought of each other. Brianna had literally launched at the speed of sound, and something flashed through Nicola's mind as he thought about it.

'Like the hell...? Maybe her innate ability is...'

Unfortunately, there was no room for more thoughts.

Kwarurung!

Lightning spilled in succession and filled the air around Nicola. This time, the cast was so fast that he couldn't even see the moves. Brianna was trying to win without allowing any counterattacks. Nicola took a quick breath of air and dedicated himself to avoiding the lightning. No matter how fast fast an attack was, he could easily dodge it. However, this was an unprecedented experience for Brianna. "How can he avoid lightning?"

Brianna's magic was based on her innate special ability, allowing her to have speed and power comparable to that of a real lightning bolt. It was immeasurably fast compared to magical flying arrows, and it was powerful enough to melt well-refined metals. She had tested her attacks before, and opponents hadn't even been able to defend themselves. Yet, why the damn she was so proud of didn't reach a person In front of her? The magical power she released was becoming greater and greater. It deflected part of the rays to the pseudo cores inside the hammers, so far they hadn't moved to attack Nicola.

Unaware of Brianna's innermost thoughts, Nicola was internally admiring and trying to figure out the skill she used. Brianna dodged his beam of light, and he too had high-speed launches. Based on these clues, perhaps the Raiju clan's innate ability was… 'Is it a control skill related to the lightning attribute? Her reflexes are developed to a tremendous level, it was a forced fusion of the body with the lightning, transforming her body into natural rays.' If our attacks are based on lightning, then there was a chance for him. Nicola thought.

Dduk.

Nicola stopped running. Then Brianna found a gap in her prey and, by reflex, fired a bolt. A blue ray emerged from her body and crossed the space.

Kwarurung!

That doesn't mean she stopped thinking. Brianna kept thinking after shooting the lightning. Her instincts furiously warned her that Nicola would not be a victim of this kind of attack. Her intuition proved correct. He had fired a flash of Lightning. Yet ...

"What?!"

It crossed Nicola's head!

'He was caught!'

Nicola did not miss a gap revealed by the opponent. It was a trap made possible by his innate abilities. He temporarily activated the sin of gluttony, pride and laziness, swallowing the lightning and absorbing it into his body which was internally reinforced by the sin of pride and the Earth Heavenly Essence and using that energy to heal his wounds, it was a very risky movement, but it worked, so the electrical magic had no effect on him.
