You looked up at the giant swirling of colors with a wonder in your eyes. It was so beautiful, like the northern lights back on earth. You had been lucky to see it once before the DJD got their servos on you. This was the only thing that could compare to the magical lights back on Earth.
The colors seemed to swirl in your eyes, making them glint with the light. "It's so beautiful." You had whispered softly, not noticing some of the other bots looking away and down at you.
"And here we are." The first thing you saw when the beautiful light was gone was a giant metal planet. Luna 1. Swerve had told you about the magical moon before. The moon that disappeared. You never thought you got to see it though.
You didn't stay with the 'bots that had decided to watch. Instead you made your way to Swerves bar, wanting to talk with a few of the 'bots that were there. You just needed to get your thoughts off of Rewind. Though it was quite difficult.
::: The shuttle :::
Rodimus had personally asked you to join them on the expedition on the moon. Why? You weren't exactly sure. You think it was mostly for company. And perhaps he wanted to show it off in a way.
You had gone with Whirl, being in his cockpit the most of the journey since it was the warmest and most comfortable place. You had crawled out to sit on his shoulder when you were all standing on the hotspot.
You smiled at the beautiful sight, being infatuated with the bright colors. You looked over at Whirl, seeing the glint in his optic. "It's really pretty." Whirl nodded his helm softly. "You should just have seen when these occurred often."
You continued to smile brightly. You all soon went on your way, hoping to find Ultra Magnus on the planet. But you were all stopped by a group of Decepticons led by someone named Lockdown.
Whirl had quickly stuffed you in his cockpit before transforming and flying away. Cyclonus had followed after you two, which led Whirl challenge him to go against Rodimus' wish and fight instead of fleeing.
"I don't think that's a good idea." You had shakingly stated as you were finding a comfortable position in the seat after just being shoved in there. "Pft, it'll be fine. I'll keep you safe if that's what you're afraid of."
You hadn't been sure but you didn't really get to protest, before they were already head first into the battle. You were tense throughout the short fight. Short, because the two just plowed through the Decepticons taking down as many as they could.
It didn't take long before you were all standing in front of a titanic smelting pool, dead 'cons behind you. Whirl had put you down on the ground, letting you walk over to the edge and look down into the hot pool. You weren't exactly sure what it was in it but you suspected it to be some kind of metal.
"I would think that the others are up there." Whirl pointed up at a giant cube hanging over the pool. "Probably a prison. There to keep them from escaping." You made no indication to that you were listening, although you were.
"There's an armoury not far from here, we can get some weapons from there." Whirl wasn't the one to pick you up this time, it was Cyclonus. Though he handed you off to the one opticed mech quickly.
"Don't forget them." His tone was monotone as he walked away, to find the armoury. Whirl looked down at you for a moment, meeting your gaze. He looked a bit stunned and bewildered, but only for a moment.
"Hey, Cyclonus! Wait up!"
::: Armoury door :::
"So you don't care about the alarms?" Whirl scoffed at Cyclonus' question. "Nah, all I care about are these stupid handles." He put in some of the colorful language you had been teaching him over the time you had been with the lost lighters.
"Here, let me. " Cyclonus pushed Whirl aside, giving the two of you some time to talk. "Why do you keep the claws when they're such a hassle?" You asked Whirl out of curiosity.
He looked at you then onto the ground contemplating over to tell you the truth. "You don't need to know that now." Your posture fell a little before you sighed and got back up. 'He's gonna tell you when he's ready.'
You looked over at Rewind who was standing near Cyclonus, his voice calm as he talked about your friend. You nodded slightly, not wanting to answer him and give up everything you had carefully hidden away.
Before walking over to the door, Whirl put you onto the ground taking hold of said door, pushing it to the side. You were about to walk in after him but didn't get far as you heard an ungodly noise coming from Cyclonus' place.
You looked back, seeing a sharp sword skewered through his torso. You stayed to the side as Whirl hurried out of the armory, killing the yellow 'con in the blink of an eye.
"I don't know what was most unexpected. Getting stabbed or getting saved." Whirl chuckled in a creepy way. "Don't thank me, thank my amazing reflexes." Cyclonus proceeded to take out the sword in his abdomen.
"Where did you get the sword?" Whirl looked at Cyclonus. "In the armoury." You walked over to the two, letting Whirl pick you up and place you on his shoulder. Without saying anything else Whirl walked into the prison, a sword in hand..
"A-ha. The circle of light I presume?" So many 'bots in small cramped prisons. Around two to three in each one. Your eyes widened at the sight, it was incredible but also sad. How long would they have had to sit in there.
'This is incredible. The Circle of Light has been gone for so long.' You glanced at Rewind, quietly agreeing with him. You tapped Whirl, making him set you on the ground. "Let's find a way to get them out." Whirl said to Cyclonus, no longer paying you much mind, which you were fine with.
Instead you decided to take a short stroll around, hoping to get a talk with Rewind.
