Chapter 32: Healing the Alpha

As the three of us decided to do another run around the perimeter of my properties, we headed back to the mansion. When we came back, everyone could sense something was indeed different as we appeared there and went into their defensive mode as they started growling. The wolves were not growling at the Immortal blood but at my presence because my usual scent that they knew was different. I'm at my worst state, my deep fallen state that only a few knew this shift of mine well. But among them, there's one person who came rushing that suddenly wrapped their arms around my waist and held me very dearly as if I'm going to vanish at any moment. I know who was it and even though she's not my biological daughter, she did grow to me like my own daughter and I would be like this as well if something happened to her.
