The Seven Gospels are created by the Holy Church as a way for Humans to fight against monsters the Human way.
Using heroic spirits and merging their saint graphs with the seven best they have.
Each of the best members isn't actually using their real name, their last names might be, but no one is really naming siblings Cain and Abel normally.
[Adam Kingsley]
[25]
[First Sword of the Chivalric Order and Hero of the Holy Church]
[A very knightly, man. He was gentle to women, refused to hit them unless forced to. He was a white knight, a chad, and a simp altogether, but not blind as to believe a woman just cause, he even protected some male members from the defamation of females before. He is always compared with Kirei, the youngest and darkest, and him the oldest and brightest. It could be said that he is someone the Vatican would not think twice to get if they have the chance, but that's impossible because of the fact that deep inside him...
Adam hated God.
He was kind, compassionate, gentlemanly, the perfect man and husband, and the perfect friend and brother for everyone. He was a hero, he was a true knight, he was the strongest, he the best. But, he hated God.
He hated how he simply abandoned them all for whatever reason, how he just died and left the world to rot, with the Human he created and the sacred gears they wielded being used by the likes of Devils and whatnot.
He hated God. He hated the Devils and everything else, not Humans. He hated himself for being weak when he was younger, and thus he strives to be the best, the perfect being.
This self-depreciation and hatred made his wavelength match another person of the same mindset.
King Arthur. Just like him, King Arthur thought himself a bad king, he regretted his past and goes along the world to try and fix his mistakes.
Adam might not be a Pendragon, but he was far closer to Arthur than the descendant himself.
And now that he was given the chance to be the greatest due to the saint graph merge. He would make sure that the Devils were utterly wiped out.
For him, he might be the protagonist, but for everyone else not human.
He was evil.
The hero is always the villain from the opposite side.
And the villain is always the hero for the same side.
Issei and Adam are those.
Would the human with the heart of a black pearl prevail? Or would the Devil with a heart of gold be victorious?
Two heroes will fight.
Two villains will fight.
Both are simply on the other side of the same coin.]
[On a side note, he likes no one. Unfortunately for Eve]
[His first kiss was a Devil who previously captured and tortured him. Kirei helped him escape that situation before he lost his virginity]
[He respects Kirei despite being older, he could only hope that he was as young and strong as Kirei was]
[He never felt jealousy towards anyone, neither does he feel greed, gluttony, or sloth]
[However, he feels wrath towards God itself]
