The battle that may end everything

He immediately used flash step and stepped away from the shaman,and then he put his arm of the wound. it was bleeding, the blood drops were falling on the ground. Drop by drop. Ichigo was breathing heavily.

He fell down.

'does this end here?, Just at level 1?, These things happen to me everytime, near death experience and then someone saves me or I get somr power ups and reach a new level, Zangetsu also helped me before, but after Yhwach it's me only'

"Are already done? Shinigami!!" - Shaman

The shaman looked at his pathetic condition and made the weird face, like he was disgusted.

"Quickly, Get up , soul reaper! your kind does not die easily"

immediately, Ichigo thought:

'yes, we donot die easily. but why do i feel like death is near. why am i not confident or motivated to attack back. This has never happened before, I never lose faith.'

'Probably I did not lose my faith and it's just my mind playing with me.'

'I have lost a lot of blood. I have to check my health'

[Health: 38%, losing 1% every five minutes due to bloodloss]

'What! .. I have to end this quick'.

"I'm tired of waiting " - shaman said as he was watching Ichigo loose blood.

"How long do i have to wait for you to die due to loss of blood? Your kind is pathetic and stubborn. just die!!" He angrily said that to Ichigo.

Ichigo then picked himself up, built up the courage to attack. and he did, fighting again, clashing the weapons. battling in best way possible in such condition. the attack and hits got weaker slowly and steadily, shaman kicked ichigo and he fell again. Then again he gathered energy to stand up and attack, and he did, though that did not go according to expectations. ichigo attacked with his sword, this time he swung it from down to the up. He was successful in slicing the leg and stomach of shaman a little bit. Shaman took in the pain. And grabbed ichigo's head. At first shaman was shocked that, at this health, he was able to attack with this speed. But Ichigo is a man of strong reflexes, so he immediately sliced the shaman from the side breaking shaman's ribs.

Atleast that was what he thought would've happened. But it didn't, His strength was very low and he couldn't properly hit it, but it was still a very strong hit.

'why didn't it cut?' Ichigo was surprised.

"You're probably wondering why it did not cut... It was a strong attack, it should've. HaHaha, take a look". Ichigo saw the issue by moving his eyes to the area where the sword hit. the sword did cut the Arrancar uniform but beneath it was an armour. The usual armour of the shaman. but it shocked ichigo, because although he was familiar with shamans, but did not know that they have some sort of armour. the sword hit the armour and it broke a little, it was not properly damaged because ichigo's speed and strength of attack was weak.

"Surprised, huh ichigo??"

Ichigo did not speak. He did not say a single word from the time his head was grabbed by shamans. He was quite, thinking and analysing.

'my health is probably down to twenty percent of even lower. I don't know, I feel like I don't care anymore'. The shaman looked at Ichigo and said:

"See what I can really do, Ichi...go.."

Loz (shaman) continued speaking.

"Lu.. ko...,

Gardens from the east, Hell fire and flames of the one true hell. Beneath it, is blood and bones. The one true Being. The centercore, Cast my wish upon my foe"

The blue flames flew up from ichigo. His skin got pale, eyes were numb. it was like he is brain dead, but he was not, His heart was still beating. probably he was unconscious.

"See ichigo, You cannot hear me or listen to me properly. It's because I've casted the spell ; Luko. This spell, when casted upon the enemy makes his five senses very weak, you may be able to hear and see me, but not very clearly.

'what am I hearing? I don't know what is going on, where are my thoughts? what is in front of me?'

"Aha! , You cannot think or feel. (then he touches and pinches Ichigo.) Even when I have touched and pinched you. You don't respond, no actually your senses don't respond. Now let's see..." - Shaman then grabbed ichigo's sword, ichigo couldn't resist. he couldn't move. So the shaman slowly lifted it up from ichigo's numb hand and put it through his neck.... and starting laughing as he had won!

The voice spoke

[Host, health in criticial level, depleting health, warning depleting health]

ichigo couldn't hear and shaman was busy laughing, but repeated notification of depleting health got his attention.

[Host's health has reached zero percent.]

"Damn it!!!! , stop talking !! robot. " - The shaman tried to find out the where the voice was coming from, but he couldn't detect the location. Then he dropped ichigo on the ground.

"Good bye! Soul reaper."

Shaman's eyes saw ichigo's hand. it had a weird tattoo on it. Shaman hated that tattoo so he crushed Ichigo's hand with its foot.

"Victory is mine, soul reaper monster." - He then dusted his clothes and complained that Ichigo had messed up his uniform.

Ichigo was on the ground, fallen, lifeless.

the shaman looked away and thought he was the most powerful as he killed Ichigo, but he was also well aware of the limitations of that spell and potential disadvantage. So he used that very carefully. Making sure Ichigo does not get time to try anything. The armour was damaged a little, and there were minor cuts on shaman's body. But he was quite well and ready to battle again even though he faught such a lengthy battle.

"Pathetic" - said Shaman, and then he sat on the rock nearby and rested, tasted that sweet moments of Victory....
