Daichi, Awaken!

Alaska, the top of a frozen mountain, June 1st

A statue of an old man stood near a large bonfire. He had the appearance of the old Joseph Joestar from part three, however he had shorter hair, and many more scars on his body and face. This man was Daichi Fuyuto, the grandfather and adoptive father of Raijin and Asami.

Deep in his mind he was thinking of his life, why he died, why he couldn't reach his family in time, why he had lived so terribly. He was a man with a strong will and even after thirty seven hundred years he didn't lose his sanity. He viewed this eternal torment as his punishment.

WARNING, There is some very dark writing ahead, so terrible that I felt discussed writing it, and although I find it painful to read, I believe it is necessary for the story. It is not for the faint of heart and I apologize in advance. It is simply a backstory and there is no need for you to read it if you don't want to, it wont come up that often in the future.

---------------------------

1952 (1969 after Raijin's wish)

Daichi was born into a poor family as an only child.

When he was eight his father died and his mom remarried to some new guy. The man at first seemed nice, however he was the type that beats his family. The man would beat Daichi's mother everyday, and Daichi couldn't do anything about it. Eventually his mother died because of it, but his stepfather walked away free after framing the neighbor.

Things only got worse from there. He was forced to stay with his new "Father" and his new wife. His new father now beat him everyday and even his new mother joined in. They were both monsters. He hated them more then a normal kid could even imagine, but that wasn't the end.

When he was nine, his "parents" had a baby. She was innocent and cute, and although he hated everything about them, he still loved the baby like a sister. The vicious couple never treated the baby with any love either, so only Daichi cared for her.

When he was seventeen and his sister was eight, the old man forced her to do certain 'services' for him. After Daichi found out, he was more enraged then he had ever been. He lost control that night and strangled the man. He wasn't charged with murder because they believed he did it in self defense.

The mans wife saw it, grabbed a knife, and stabbed Daichi through his stomach. Although he survived, his organ tissue grew back the wrong way, and his digestive system basically stopped working. So although he was out of that terrible place with his sister, his body couldn't properly digest food and no matter how much he ate, he looked malnourished and his body was weak.

When he finally turned twenty he decided to leave his sister behind and enrolled in the military. He was going to become the strongest soldier, so that he could stop all that had happened to him from happening to others.

He was in the military for fifteen years. During his time there he trained so much that his body fixed his stomach and his strength increased so much afterward that even the best soldiers there looked like weak children. His body eventually adapted to the harsh training and he learned how to have near complete control over his body. He had become one of the best fighters in the entire Japanese military by the time he left.

He planned to visit his now twenty five year old sister. Although he wrote to his sister every month, he still felt distant from her. She was very talkative at first, however after about eight years she stopped writing back to him. He figured it was because she got to old to care about him anymore. When he returned to ask the orphanage where she went, they said that she just disappeared when she was nineteen. He then spent the rest of his vacation searching for her but had no luck.

During his search he had met a girl named Chiyo. She was very talented at investigation, although no one acknowledged this talent. When he asked for her help she agreed and started to help him look for his missing sister. He had left the military to have more time to find his sister.

After a year spent with Chiyo, he had fell in love with her and she loved him back, so they got married. Two years later they had a child. Although he hadn't stopped looking for his sister even after two years, he had slowed down, and he had started to lose hope.

But, somehow six year later she turned up again. She had shown up at his home and started to speak with him again, as if nothing happened. Although Daichi was elated to have his sister back, Chiyo was suspicious of her. She didn't believe that his sister would just turn up out of nowhere after sixteen years without a word.

Later that day, they were eating and suddenly Daichi and Chiyo passed out (their son was staying with Chiyo's mom for the summer). When Daichi woke up he found himself in a completely metal room with a single thick window on the wall and no door. On the other side of the window was a naked Chiyo in an identical room, but it had a door.

A few minutes later his sister walked in with a man. Daichi asked what was happening and she replied with a crazy expression,

"You killed our father when we were young, do you remember. Well he was part of a very powerful underground organization and was even in the upper echelons. They want their revenge on you for killing one of their valued members, and I chose to help them."

She said as she smiled and walked out of the room. Then the man took his clothes off and started to rape Chiyo right in front of him. Daichi kept banging on the glass to try to save her but it wouldn't break. Then the man finished and walked out, leaving a crying Chiyo on the floor.

This continued three times a day for weak, however Chiyo's mind didn't break and she stayed strong. At the end of the week two men walked in this time, both of them doing it this time. From there the number continued to double every week for five weeks. By the end there were sixteen men in the room, forcing her to do things against her will.

In the beginning Chiyo was strong, however she slowly broke, and by the end of the last week she was laughing the whole time, and had a look of happiness on her face. By this time, both of Daichi's hands and feet were broken and he had severe damage to his skull. He had hit his body against the glass so many time that it physically broke him, however he continued to try his best to save her. He would have broken every bone in his body trying to save her, if it weren't for what happened next.

On the last day, his sister walked in the room again and handed Chiyo a knife. Chiyo smiled so happily at that and then started to repeatedly stab herself in different places. After she stabbed her own heart, she finally died. Daichi's sister then looked at him and said,

"You know, when you left me at that orphanage, I waited so long for you to return, but you never did. But they came for me, they forced me to so many things for them for years, yet you still never came to save me. But don't worry brother, because you finally came back, and now I can get my revenge myself." She said as signaled the man behind her, who then pulled a lever and the window wall pulled up.

Daichi was in no condition to resist and was continuously cut all over his body by his sister as she laughed. They left him alone in there for a week before she came back and cut him again. He would have died by bleeding out if he didn't have control over his blood flow. Although he wanted to die, he kept himself alive because he knew he had to return to his son one day.

After being trapped in the room for over a year, Daichi was finally able to adapt enough to heal faster after the cuts and gain more strength from food. Although a normal person who survived for this long under these conditions would be slowly crippling, he was gaining strength instead. This was because of his extremely trained body and ability to control his body, which allowed him to force it to adapt to his current situation.

The next time his sister came to cut him again, he grabbed her by the neck and threw her against the wall then dashed out of the room. He snapped the neck of the man guarding the room and ran out of the facility. Although he wanted revenge he would have to wait, he needed to make sure his son was safe.

He returned to his son, who had thought that his father abandoned him. He explained what happened to Chiyo's parents, who broke down crying and then asked for him to kill the people who killed her. He planned to do so, however when he returned to the building he was locked in, they had all left.

He spent three years looking for the bastards, but never found them. His son hated him and said that it was his fault that his mother died, so he rarely got to spend time with him. The only thing he had left was the military, who he asked to rejoin, however was rejected do to him being forty-seven. So instead he traveled across japan looking for his enemies and learning from different schools of martial arts. This continued for eight years, before he finally found them.

This time things would go differently, he now had physical strength higher then the Shio Sakaki from kenichi. So he destroyed the building and killed every one of the people inside, he was also able to track down all those who participated. The one he found last was his sister.

She tried to kill him again, but failed. He wanted to end things there, so he told her that he was going to take her to prison for the rest of her life. Although she was a terrible person now, he knew it was the rapists fault and not hers, so he didn't want to kill her even after all of the things that she did to him.

However, she wasn't having that and decided to try to bite him in the neck to kill him. It didn't work because he dodged, and he ended up accidentally killing her when he punched her out of reflex. Although he knew that she wasn't his sister anymore when he killed her, he still felt that he betrayed her former love and banished himself from the country.

For the next two years he traveled across the world, before finally going to Alaska and building a house there. After all of his misfortune throughout his life, he believed that he was hated by fate and was there only to be its punching bag. However, one day when he was visiting the town he saw a four year old homeless girl who looked exactly like Chiyo.

Turns out she was an orphan girl named Asami, as her family had abandon her, she was mentally mature, especially for a four year old. Daichi decided to adopt her out of pity and because of her resemblance to Chiyo, so she lived with him for the next two years. At first she had trouble excepting him as her new guardian, however she soon came to love him as her grandfather.

Daichi's life was going great after all of the tragedy seemed to be over and he thought that he was finally allowed to be happy, however one day he received a letter saying that his son and daughter-in-law as well as her parents had died in a fire during a party and that his grandson was going to be sent to live with him as he was his only living blood relative left. He was devastated once again after reading that, he hadn't spoken to his son in years, but he still loved him. He felt even worse when he found out that he had a grandson, his son had never even bothered to tell him.

When the child arrived he was sad and distant. All he did was stay in his room all day and watch the T.V. He didn't get along with Asami and he hated leaving the house in the cold weather. Daichi decided to do something about it and one day confronted the six year old. From the next day foreword he made Raijin do extremely harsh training both physically and mentally. He decided that he would make his grandson stronger then anyone on earth, so that Raijin wouldn't go through the same pain as him.

He also put Asami through training, however he couldn't bare to hurt her as he felt to much trauma when he saw her in pain when training. So instead he only made her do basic training, which resulted in Raijin thinking that she was his favorite. Daichi thought that Raijin hated him for that but didn't mind, as all he wanted for Raijin was for him to become strong.

Years later he had seen a green light exploding in the sky and thought it was a bomb, he tried his hardest to reach his family in time to try to shield them at least a little from the blast, but he couldn't and ended up where he was now. So now, deep in the void of his conscious, Daichi finally despaired.

After his long years of torment, he finally started to break. But before he could,

"DAICHI!"

He heard someone yell from in front of him, he slowly looked up and saw himself standing there in military clothes.

"How can you give up so easily? After all you've been through, now is the time you give up? When you're needed the most?"

"But I cant do anything, I'm dead now. I have lost my family again." He said as he cried.

"NO YOU HAVE NOT! You are still alive and so are they, now wake the hell up and go save them."

"I can't! I'm to weak. Just like every other time. I was to weak to save my mother. I was to weak to save Chiyo. I was to weak to save my sister. I was to weak to save my own son." He said as his spirit started to crumble.

"SO THEN GET THE HELL UP AND STOP BEING WEAK!" He yelled again, causing Daichi to look at him with confused eyes.

"You are not weak anymore, you have the power to save your family now. So get up and do it before its to late and you lose them!" He finished and looked down at Daichi whos eyes now widened.

He had almost given up, he had almost lost his family again! He understood what he needed to do after realizing that.

Daichi then looked back at himself with determined eyes and nodded.

-------------------------------

Back outside of his mind.

Crack

The statue of the old man started to shake. Cracks slowly started to spread across his body before finally the fragments fell off and an old man stood in its place. Daichi had woken up, not because of fate, or the genie, or the wish, not because of nitric acid, or because of hamon, and not because of becoming a zombie or vampire. No, Daichi just used pure willpower to force himself awake, one month before he was supposed to wake up.

I understand that no one likes ntr related stuff and neither do I, in fact I hate it. However I think that a situation like this is the only thing that can really justify his motive to force Raijin to train to be the strongest in such an intense way. Although there might have been other options, I think that this was the most effective one, even if it was the worst, so now I apologize for putting you readers through that and I promise that the next chapter will be light hearted. Also, I purposefully wrote most of this in very little detail because I dont think I would have been able to force myself through writing it otherwise.
