It would be Stephan's first day as a under study butler under Makos father like all butlers and maids they must be recommended by a servant then they would be evaluated by their school test scores and other such things. That day at Afliko's house a carriage showed up with guards asking for him Afliko's father called for him to tell him they were here of course Stephan came rushing down the steps in the traditional butler fire nation attire.

The guards told him to get inside the carriage since it was their duty to take him to the palace being escorted in the fine carriage felt good like he was always meant to be in this carriage surrounded by guards. Just then he reached the palace it felt like seconds to him but it was actually been over 15 minutes when he arrived at the palace the guards escorted him to meet with the fire lord when he saw the fire lord he was behind a giant fire nation vail he spoke "knowing you have taken this job you pledge your loyalty to the fire nation and only the fire nation" Stephan responded "yes fire lord ozai" hearing his reply he said "good follow the guards they shall move you to your training room where you will meet your mentor".

The guards then came next to him and escorted him to a underground base of some sort where he saw a man in a fire nations butler attire the man spoke " you must be the boy my son was talking about I didn't think you would wanna enroll in the program" hearing what mako's father said Stephan was confused he never heard anything about a program seeing the confused look on his face the man spoke once more "so he didn't tell you well to bad it's to late to back out".

The man then said " your first fight will be tonight against another newbie in a body only contest ,before that let me tell you what's happening the fire nations butlers that your signing up for is actually a direct group that helps hunt and kill fire nation enemies are training is much harder and we kill to stay alive once you have graduated you will have rankings displaying your stats and by the rankings you will get titles money, woman anything you want you will act like a normal butler but at night your down here fighting got it.

After that a maid came out of nowhere and explained the rules "everything goes, and no giving up" she said then walked away. From his current understanding the matches start at night he should have 8 hours to prepare he decided to use a ability acquired from killing a bender the ability to talk to the reincarnations of the person he killed he sat down and suddenly a person appeared it was a earth bender he appeared and said "you have come seeking knowledge from the one you devoured no matter use your body as a weapon look deeply at your opponent and find his weakness any at all that is my knowledge I can impart" he then went away like the wind.

Seeing this he then concentrated and the only other bender appeared it was the man he spoke "use your environment to fight the body is stronger when the elements are with you even if your not bending them" That was their wisdom use your senses to observe your opponent and look for a weakness and use the environment to your advantage he suddenly got a system notification [Spiritual stats are growing body undergoing awakening 10% done all spiritual stats are now 6] another notification appeared after that [body and spirit are in Harmony when entering the spirt world you won't lose your powers].

He decided to ignore that last one he decided the best course of action would be to remove his emotions the only risk is his emotionless self probably wouldn't care to bring him back but then again what would be the reason not to so he just decided to bet on those odds.In his final preparations he decided to look over people with the level 1 observation skill

He scanned the room full of people and encountered some people with higher physical stats then him and talent in bending and sword none higher then him in bow and let's not talk about chi stats he could only see peoples that couldn't bend. With his preparations complete he decided to turn off his emotions and sense of pain soon after a maid came to get him they still needed to teach him basic butler stuff on his down time and where he would be staying in the palace he continued to use the observation skill it's proficiency increasing as time went by until he saw something at the corner of his eye it was a spirit this time a fire one it was just walking around not bothering anyone.
