We Aren't Friends Anymore

Nathan was having a much harder time than he anticipated adjusting to life without Sierra. He threw himself into his writing more than usual since he now had more empty time to fill that would usually be spent hanging out with her but even that didn't manage to completely distract him because of all the times she laid around on his couch as he wrote.

He did his best to remove physical reminders of her at the very least. He replaced the picture of the two of them with another one of him and Amber and deleted all of the ones he had on his phone after uploading them to his computer.

They went in the file he never looked at that held the ones of him and Brianna. Where memories best left forgotten went to die.

He missed her terribly but, since he had always known this was going to happen, he did his best to soldier on. He deserved this. He was supposed to be alone. Someone as good as her should freely live her life without worrying about a mess like him.
