"I can't contact Matthew until I'm out of the hospital," Nathan pointed out.

This didn't dim Sierra's enthusiasm in the slightest. "Why don't I do it for you? Then he could have the device ready by the time you can make it up there."

"That works. His number is in my phone if you want to text him. The passcode is 262372."

She did as he said but didn't get a response for another fifteen minutes. "He says he'll talk to Carson about getting more devices made and that he can schedule a time to meet with you once he has them."

If Nathan was going to have to go further north anyway, it might be better to meet with Adrian in person and talk to him then. Getting his feelings across fully might be easier face-to-face than over the phone. Goodness knows he needed to do that in order to get any real advice.
