Serpent Queen Anastasia

Sauren and Zeph swam towards the direction from where the light was spilling out. They found it to be a diversion in the topology with a cave underwater leading to further deep in the earth. They exchanged glances and followed the way to the end of the cave.

Bit by bit as they were approaching towards the end of the cave path they found that coldness was increasing gradually

At last, they found that path was leading to an open area. They emerged out of the water to found themselves in entirely different surroundings.

They looked around to find a huge castle-shaped structure made from earth walls. Who can imagine that such a large castle was existing just below the lake of the valley? It was decorated with huge murals of serpents and flood dragons, fighting with demons and another beast. It was some kind of hall they had entered into through a water cave path. They immediately moved forward to explore such a castle.

"Are you sure we should not turn back now?" Asked Sauren.

"You are running ahead while asking me such questions"

Sauren giggled a little with his green eyes twinkling in the semi-darkness of a huge castle wall. As both of them exited the hall and turned along the route, they found a big white snake coiled in front of a huge gate starting them confusingly.

Immediately both of them took their battle stance, cold sweat came out of their backs as they informed each other through a whisper.

"Heart level"

"Heart level"

Both of them spoke at the same time to each other. It was out of their wildest dreams that there will be another heart level beast here. Zeph looked into his eyes and began to think of possible ways of escaping from such a situation.

"Humans…..how are you able to enter the divine abode?" Asked the beast in gruff voice.

"Divine abode….yes it was by mistake we entered here and lost our way. I think we should leave now, right Zeph? we will not disturb you further and….."

Before Sauren could finish his excuse white snake lifted his head and hissed loudly.

"Leave your ungrateful lives behind "

Snake arched back a little and with insane speed jumped at both of them. Zeph was already ready for super fast speed thus immediately picked Sauren and dodged the head-on tackle of the snake. It turned around and spat out a huge amount of poison mist on both of them.

Sauren immediately formed blue flames shield to block mist from approaching them. They saw with their eyes the effect of poison as the whole ground began to freeze. Zeph realized that they could not hold for long against this beast in its home ground. He observed the gate behind them to be made of very old iron which can be broken by enough striking force. He whispered to Sauren.

"Only way to escape is to move forward through this gate behind us, he is blocking the return route thus get ready to run the moment I shatter the gate. "

Sauren nodded and just at that moment Zeph activated the blaze technique. He made a slash toward the gate which collapsed with a bang. Beast noticed their intentions but it was too late.

"Stop "

Yelled Snake as it activated ice energy to raise large sharp icicles from the ground to block the path ahead but Zeph was long prepared for such obstructions, He picked up Sauren and ran the moment his katana slashed disappearing into a path with icicles popping out just a few inches behind him.

Snake gave frustrated 'hisss' and chased behind, it was also specialized in speed but due to its large size and care to avoid damaging paths of abode he was little slower than Zeph who was running like mad for his last bet on survival.

He passed through a long corridor and reached a majestic ice room ahead. He without thinking entered the room and suddenly stopped there in the middle of the room.

In front of him was a large pearl shining with absolute brightness. Pearl was huge with hanging in mid-air periodically releasing waves of energy. Zeph noticed pulsating energy to be the same which is cause for coldness in the whole valley. Cold energy is only capable of felt by living beings.

Sauren rose his head from behind and said in a shocked voice.

"Serpent Pearl"

'Boom' like pressure being released, huge aura descended from the pearl. Zeph and Sauren were unable to resist and fell on their knees. On their knees, the majestic pressure of aura disappeared completely. They heard a loud crashing sound behind and looked behind to see the shocking scene of the white snake beast chasing them being violently thrown off out of the room by an aura alone of pearl.

"It can't enter," said Sauren.

"Only pure blood can enter"

Came a voice from the front as they saw a lady coming from further inside of the room. She was beautiful in every manner with a perfect body, fair skin, and luscious lips. She was wearing nothing and stood in front of both kneeling men. The only distinctive thing was a burning mark on her left side of her body which extends from her neck to her leg continuously. But ironically this mark doesn't make her ugly but further increased her seductiveness.

"But you two humans can reach this close to pearl, I'm totally surprised ."

She observed the faces of two young humans, one with green eyes staring at her transfixed but his whole face was red while the other was keeping his head bowed down looking lost in his thought.

While she was observing both of them, Different thoughts prevailed in warriors' minds. The only thought inside Zeph's mind was

'She is not on a heart level, this rumored serpent is deep as Legendary Bushin, we are doomed'

While Sauren was thinking,

'I was telling you idiot, Zeph. She gotta be a beautiful lady. Alas from her expression it looks like it will be the end of us, but who cares we stand no chance against her.

Heart level bull sh*t, she is close to third eye level. Never mind I could die by watching such a beautiful lady as the last view.'

Both of them had lost hope of survival after her arrival.

She noticed something and immediately made a thin robe out of ice energy and covered her body. she conjured an ice throne and sat on it by crossing her legs. She looked emotionlessly towards them.

"Who are you? For what purpose you came here? Depending on the answer I will give you an easy or difficult death,YOU CHOOSE"
