Flame snake opened its jaw to attack Bushin. Just in milliseconds, it was upon him. He was sure surprised by the attack.
Sauren instantly regretted his act. He was now praying that nether flames do not cause damage to Bushin.
At the moment when the snake was just a few inches away from him. The third vertical eye apparition instantly appeared on his forehead. An eye opened to reveal prismatic blue pupil.
Space ruptured just before the snake and swallowed it one gulp. His eye vanished just as it had appeared in instant. Space fabric repaired itself instantly.
Sauren blinked his eye in surprise. In a blink everything was alright. Bushin was exhaling a puff of smoke he had inhaled. There was no sign of any damage.
"As I have already told you. These flames are strong but not invincible. What can you do if your fire can't even touch the opponent." said Bushin.
Instantly coming out of adrenaline of anger, the pain hit him like a truck. He fell on the floor and began moaning in pain.
"Oh, I thought process was over since you dared to sneak attack your master. Huh.."
Sauren was once again cursing Bushin like mad in his heart. He simply didn't have enough energy to say it loud.
He tossed and turned for a good half an hour in pain. At last, due to tiredness and struggle he had faced, he fell into deep sleep moment he felt the pain becoming bearable.
It was a time of evening. Bushin looked at soundly sleeping Sauren and then gazed at the setting sun. He walked out of the room and went on to sit on the veranda.
He sighed and rubbed his eyes. For thanks of almighty, he survived thought Bushin. He didn't show it but he was stressed. He had seen with his own eyes various geniuses turning into dust while bearing that contract.
Those innocent warriors lost to the greed of us older man in hope of controlling the power beyond mankind. They were emotionally forced, given false hopes to rely on.
One by one how many warriors were sacrificed to the flames. All those lives lost, somewhere he was also responsible for them. Therefore this time he was scared to see another one lost due to the greed of us elders.
Bushin chuckled at thought of what that ruler of Netherworld would be thinking about us.
He must be laughing seeing humans sacrificing their children willingly.
He would be jesting at us who call themselves social and emotional being. Bushin took a deep breath of relaxation.
He magically took out a cup and bottle of wine.
"This calls for real relaxation"
He poured a cup of wine to him and raised his cup to the air. He then gulped down the entire cup.
Suddenly Sauren felt himself conscious, but something was wrong. He was standing in the pitch-black place with no light but weirdly he could see his own body perfectly in this dark place.
Then he remembered he was in the house of Bushin. He fell asleep after being tired for much time.
'So I am dreaming!' thought Sauren.
"Ohoy, So someone again managed to bear the contract?"
Came thundering voice which shook Sauren to the core. He looked around and slowly his surroundings were illuminated. He was standing in the middle of the vast plains. Where for miles away there was nothing to see, the only plains of black soil.
He saw before him an enormous figure shrouded in shadows sitting on the throne made of iron. The throne chair was in the middle of dessert-like plains, which was too weird to understand for Sauren.
"You are here summoned in lieu of your contract, You have the opportunity to refuse the terms if you want or you can accept them."
Sauren looked to the Shady figure, "So….you are the ruler of the Nether world."
"Hahaha, Humans as expected too curious even if there was a sword hanging on their neck.
But this thing is which impressed me to make a contract for Your race. You are different beings from the rest of any creatures I have met."
The enormous creatures stood up from his throne. He was as tall as a 100 story building of earth. He was still in darkness so only his figure was visible to Sauren.
"What will happen if I refuse terms now?" Asked sauren.
"Of course you will be burnt to nothingness by me at this very moment. "
He began walking towards Sauren and with each step, he began to shrink in size. Step by step he finally reached in front of Sauren, he was reduced to just about eight feet tall.
Now his form was visible to Sauren. He was a strong creature with two hands, two legs. In terms of body figure, he was similar to humans.
He was so strong and bulky, which was apparent from his heavy build. His face was like a demon he had seen pictures of.
With massive two eyes and beard, sharp two fangs protruding from his mouth. His eyes having vertical pupils red. Yes ,very much similar to demons.
This made Sauren believe that the ruler of the Netherworld was a demon.
