Zeph stopped playing his flute after some time, the sudden silence of the world pervaded the senses of all the listeners. It was like they wanted to listen more but silence after the melody was calming in its own respect.
He rubbed the flute which turned back to an ordinary wooden ring on his finger. He rubbed it and slowly closed his eyes, eventually falling to sleep. What he didn't know was, along with him Exousia and all other living beings in the vicinity also fell asleep to the calm silence.
Sun rose from the mountains, brightening the world with its light. The morning rays woke Zeph up from his sleep as he stretched himself and after making sure Exousia was good and still sleeping he walked outside to gather some food and herbs.
As he walked back he was surprised to see Exousia back in her set of heavy robes sitting on the rock slab which served as her bed for the last few days.
