Inside the deep cavern, Zeph was whetting his sword idly on the plane surface rock. He was performing the same task for the last one hour, grinding the blade's edge repeatedly by back and forth movement.
It looked almost mechanical, with his hands working without thought, subconsciously rehearsed for the last five years. His gaze unfocused while in the dim light of the cavern, shadows looming over sharp edges of his face, enhancing his mysteriousness.
With a click, suddenly a snake materialized in front of him. It was a twelve-inch long small cute green snake that flicked its tail as it coiled over the arm of Zeph leisurely. Zeph was nonchalant with the snake crawling over him but still snapped out of his zero conscious state. He was not bothered by its presence as he had gotten used to it.
