A book on hiatus...or maybe not!

This an attempt at the genre of Eastern fantasy by the author, portraying the story of dual protagonists, Zeph(the one who is white Blaze) and his counterpart Sauren, engaging through the senseless world where powers and supernatural are just everyday things to encounter and people killing people without any recuperation is the normalised thing. In short, it is a world where the strong rule over the weak and the step to becoming strong is churning their body up to light up their potential of the body. Set in an ancient yet magical fantasy setting, White Blaze is an author's first writing experience so you can see and feel the development of the quality of writing as the chapter progresses.

White Blaze

Zeph growled in confusion. What did it have to do with him? He is an Assassin not some spy or inside worker. He is not even an insider of the clan, so why did he have to do this mission?

The man knew it would lead to such a reaction, but it was not his mistake, higher-ups had told him that. It looks like someone from high up is trying to put stones in his glorious path. And from the looks of Oni, he is not aware of that yet.

"The..they told me they wanted to check your problem-solving ability in combination with your strength. "

Zeph further had a twisted expression on his face, but fortunately, it was hidden behind his mask. Although, the man didn't have to see his face to know what he was thinking since he too had the same reaction when he got the mission. What a ridiculous explanation?
