-------------------------------

The reason for that was the weapons that Edward made through the years, making it easy for their armies to hunt a dragon or two if a fight started here or there.

Edward himself did not care about the group at the moment since he wanted to see his new children. Edward turned his head to check the dragons on his shoulders that were jumping from one to another. They were playing with his hair and ears from time to time. Although the dragons were small, Edward could swear that they were much bigger than the three dragons that Daenerys hatched in his previous life. They were twice the size of Drogon.

The one staying on his left shoulder was a dark black dragon that even his eyes were black. It looked as if it came from the depth of hell with this look and would terrify the masses in the future. The other one on his right shoulder had silver scales with blue eyes. From what Edward could understand from their words, the black one was male while the other was female. (I know that in ASOIF, dragons had no gender, but I changed it since I did not know where the eggs came from if they had no gender.)

Edward thought for suitable names for the two guys on his shoulder on his way to his tent. When they were about to enter, he finally came up with convenient names. He was going to use Valyrian names for those two.

"From this day forward, your names are Bantāzma and Gēlion. They suit you so well." Spoke Edward with a laugh as he looked at the two, who seemed quite happy after hearing their names from their father. Edward had chosen those names based on the color of their scales.

Bantāzma meant the pitch black and the dark and long night, which suited him very much because of his very dark scales and black eyes. Edward was sure that Bantāzma's fire breath would be black fire as well, making that name suitable for him than anything else.

As for Gēlion, the name meant silver in High Valyrian, which suited her as well. Unlike Bantāzma, who would cause fear and panic in the hearts of everyone that would see him, Gēlion's silver scales and blue eyes made her approachable and look more friendly than her brother. Edward was sure that Jasmine would like her very much.

When the group heard what Edward said and saw the dragon's ecstasy, they smiled lightly. Although only Raymont, Lyonel, and Daenerys were the only ones that understood their meaning since they were the only ones that learned high Valyrian, Everyone was sure that the names suited the two after seeing their reactions.

After getting inside, Edward prepared some meat pieces for the two dragons to eat and let them play by themselves while he took his seat and waited for everyone to do the same before speaking again.

"Come on. Say whatever on your minds." Said Edward with a smile after waiting for some time and still not getting any response from the group. Edward could see the hesitation on their faces and decided to help them a little.

"How did you do that, father? I mean, how could the fire not hurt you and Jasmine at all? And the dragons!!!" Asked Raymont after taking a long breath. He still could not get over the fact that his father might have favored Jasmine this much that he helped her become like him, a fire-resistant bitch, and did not care about them, his other children.

"Well, if you had taken a second to think about it or tried at least, you would have found that not only Jasmine that the fire could not hurt. Every one of you is the same." Said Edward with a smile on his face while patting Jasmine, who was still sleeping in his lap. If his children were brave enough to come close to the fire, they would have found that they were the same as him and Jasmine.

After hearing Edward's words, everyone got surprised, and their hearts were about to blow up since they thought of it but were not brave enough to try. But the meaning of Edward's words was that they would have their dragons as well. That alone was enough to change everything.

"But how??" Raymont thought that he knew his father the best and was sure that he would know if his father did something like that to change his body or something.

As for Daenerys and Stannis, they thought that Edward was only talking to his children. They thought they got excluded from the equation. But everyone could see how envious Daenerys was when she heard that Edward and his children could go through the fire and hatch a dragon while she could not. Stannis took it easy since he did not expect much, and riding a dragon was not one of his dreams like other men.

"You don't have to know the details about how I did that. You only have to know that I did something back then to purify our blood and make it purer than the Dragonriders from old Valyria themselves." Said Edward with a sad smile as he looked at Raymont and the rest of his children when he remembered Ashara. He was not going to lose his mind and tell them that he used their mother's heart to make this possible. Edward truly loved his wife, but his determination to change her personality had backfired on him, making him regret marrying Ashara in the first place.

Although his children were not close to Ashara as she ignored them and did not try to mend this relationship after that, Edward decided not to tell them this information. But he did not realize that two of his sons and Stannis nearly guessed what happened.

Raymont heard that his father invited those sorcerers during the time his mother died. Raymont was supposed to be the closest to Ashara. She still had some of her sanity, and Edward did not fuck her up at that time after Raymont's birth. But she ended up ruining everything some years later, making Raymont, who was smart enough at that time to distance himself from her.

Raymont did not blame Edward for what he did since he saw with his own eyes how Ashara was at the end of her life. So it was better for her to do her children the last favor. Though, his thinking might change if he knew that his father was the reason behind Ashara's madness.
