Petyr wanted to protest against Cersei's words and try to persuade her against this idea, but when he saw how she looked, he was sure that she would not accept a no for an answer. Anyone that opened his mouth at this moment would be her enemy and would not know how he died.

"No, your grace. We all think the same." Said the grandmaester, Pycelle, trying to suck up to the woman that he wanted to fuck her even once.

The others nodded their heads to express their agreement to the words that Cersei said. Even Petyr Baelish did not dare say anything else since he did not think or come up with a good excuse to say no. Because the situation was too sudden, even the great, Petyr Baelish, did not manage to persuade the queen.

Although that was the case, a mind as schemer as Petyr's would not admit defeat. He knew that he could not go against or persuade the queen since she had some brain in her head as well and would doubt him if he dared to say anything. But the young king was another case.

Petyr was sure that he could suck up to the young king and control him a little to do what he wanted. Joffrey did not inherit anything from Cersei at all. He might have inherited Jaimie's foolishness when he was younger but nothing else.

Joffrey did not have anything else in his head aside from seeing people suffer.mThat was why Petyr thought of taking this matter to Joffrey instead of Cersei.

At the exact moment when Petyr was daydreaming about what he was going to do, Cersei looked at the man and spoke.

"What is the situation of the Vale, Lord Baelish?" Asked Cersei as she looked at the man with disgust in her eyes. If it was up to her, no one of those sitting around her would live for any more second.

"What do you mean, your grace?" Asked Petyr Baelish, faking ignorance as he did not want anyone to know the real situation in The Vale. The Vale was his property and would not allow anyone to even think for a second to get it.

Too bad for him since Petyr would not even get the chance to enjoy The Vale and its knights because Edward planned to get rid of him and Lysa Arryn after returning from Essos.

"The Vale is our ally, right?" Asked Cersi as she glared at him, daring him to say anything that she did not want to hear. She did not like that scheming guy that did not say anything straight.

"Of course, your grace. You don't have to worry." Said Petyr with a smile as he looked at Cersei with mockery in his eyes. As if he would side with the Lannister. Petyr was only planning for a good chance to take Sansa and leave King's Landing so he could fuck the girl.

"Good." Said Cersei as she did not shift her eyes from the smiling Petyr threatening him by her look.

"Then, let's end this matter here." Said Cersei before standing up and leaving before waiting for anyone. Those who were in the room looked at each other before standing up and following her as well. Only Baelish did not leave his seat as he was thinking of how to persuade the young Joffrey to do what he wanted.

At that time, no one would dare to say no to Joffrey as he was the king, including Cersei herself. It all depended on the timing and Joffrey's actions.

After that meeting, Petyr tried to find Joffrey to persuade him to go on with his plans since he was sure that Joffrey and his hobbies would not like to see someone like Ned Stark free. But he had to talk to him alone without Cersei in the way, or she would foil his plans of convincing the young king. That is why it took him nearly three days to find the chance to speak with Joffrey in one of the halls of the Red Keep.

"Your grace!! Please, wait for a second. I have something important to tell you." Said Petyr Baelish as he saw the king alone with Ser Myren, walking by his side. He found the perfect opportunity to talk to the young Joffrey without Cersei's interference. He was sure that Cersei would not interrupt since she had a meeting with the new master of spies and would not come here anytime soon.

Joffrey, who was on his way to his room to practice his favorite hobby, stopped after hearing those words with an annoyed look on his face. He did not like it when someone interrupted him during his leisure time. That was why he looked angry at the moment as he looked at Petyr Baelish.

"What??" Said Joffrey with an annoyed look as he looked at Petyr Baelish. If he did not have to take his mother's opinion, he would have to order Ilyn Payne to take the head of everyone that he disliked.

Probably after Varys disappeared, only Baelish knew how to please the king and about his sadistic hobbies. That was why he realized what he did wrong when he remembered where Joffrey was going at the moment and decided to solve this misunderstanding before anything else. If he did not, everything he planned would get wasted by this young king's anger.

"Your Grace, I have a girl in the brothel that I am sure you would like. She enjoys having it rough, and I am sure you would be pleased." Said Baelish with a smile on his face as he looked at Joffrey's changing expression. He could not help but praise himself deep inside his heart and think of how intelligent he was for being always prepared and coming up with enough plans to save himself.

As for Joffrey, who got annoyed a little earlier after Baelish's interruption, his expression turned more pleasing after hearing Baelish's words. He imagined how he was going to play with that prostitute and torture her the way he wanted.

"Then, thank you for the offer." Said Joffrey with a smile on his face as well. The boy was easy to trick with the good words. Baelish had the boy around his finger with just a simple trick.

"Ah, your grace, did you hear about your mother's decision about the traitor, Ned Stark?" Asked Baelish as he looked at the young man in front of him. It was finally the time to talk about the important things he came here to find Joffrey for, and he could not help but observe the young man.
