Chapter 220: Meeting Sansa and Jon Snow in the North

Raymont had married the only two that could not hold grand weddings in the seven kingdoms.

"A month then." Said Olenns since she could not take this away from her granddaughter, although she was afraid inside from what might happen in this month.

Edward nodded his head after hearing her words before showing her the way out while carrying his grandson. After that, Edward decided to check on Raymont's situation since he was the one who put him there himself. But if you asked Edward the question 'Did Edward regret doing that?'. He would give the same answer to everyone, and it would be a clear 'NO!!'.

When he saw the group, however, Edward was surprised. He found his daughter by law, Rhaenys, hugging Daenerys while crying. It seemed that seeing the last member of her family make her lose control over her emotions.

Although Daenerys had some tears in her eyes, if anyone looked carefully, they would see the complicated look on her face, especially when she saw Edward carrying Edward in his arms.

Although Rhaenys looked alright with what happened, Edward could sense that she did not treat him the same way she did before. He figured that Rhaenys was only a little angry because of Raymont's second marriage.

Although a second marriage was not allowed in the faith of Seven, Edward had long since Edward changed his and his sons' faith toward the lord of light. And since he was close to them, they easily passed this law and agreed to hold his marriage.

After Edward handed his grandson to the group to take care of him, he did not notice the look on their faces.

Each one of the three had a complicated feeling towards Edward, who controlled their life without giving them the option to say no.

As for Edward, he wanted to meet Sansa and Joffrey before starting his war with the Lannister. He had already thought of the plan to face the Lannister, and it was the time to implement it.

After getting her out of King's Landing, Sansa Stark got taken to Storm's Eye, where she could leave in hiding for some time. Edward wanted to frighten her a little and make her reflect on what she did since he did not like to keep a complete idiot by his side. So he asked his men to treat her like a prisoner without letting her know who they were.

Sansa did not get to leave her room even for once. She herself did not know where she was since Edward preferred to make it this way. She was like a prisoner the whole time, making things difficult for her.

She stayed in one of the rooms where the servants would be the only ones to interact with her. They would give her the food and everything she needed without letting her anything.

Edward knocked on the door to her room to make her know that someone was going to enter. It would be awkward to enter while she was naked or something. She was at the age of his daughters, and he would never try to think of her like that, especially when she was his friend's daughter.

When Edward entered the room, he could see Sansa on the bed crying her heart out. Edward heard that she did that all day and, for every day, since she did not know what would happen to her. When she asked the servants where she was, no one answered her and behaved as if she did not exist.

Edward wanted her to reach the state where she thought that she would die. At that time, he would appear and talk to her and making himself the hero. Sansa was the key to control the North, so Edward wanted her loyalty.

"You are still crying..." Said Edward as he came close to the girl and smiled. He knew that this girl had been through a lot after her father's death, but he did not actually care about her well-being in the first place. All he wanted was to take control of the North and save her as a last favor to his dead friend.

Sansa, who heard a familiar voice for the first time in a long time, could not believe her ears and raised her head to see who said those words. When she did that and saw that it was her uncle, Edward, her tears did not stop for a second before standing up and hugging him while crying harder.

"Uncle Edward, my father, my brothers, and my mother, they are dead..." Said the girl with a hoarse voice. She had finally found a familiar person to who she could tell everything in her mind. Although she was not close to Edward as Arya was, she considered him a family since Ned Stark did.

"I heard about that, and I am sorry that I could not do anything. I got caught in a long war in Essos, making it difficult for me to return. I advised your father before I went, but he did not listen to me." Said Edward as he patted her back. He did not care about Catelyn Stark's death, but Ned's death still hurt his heart a little since the two knew each other for too long.

Edward stayed like that for a few minutes to let the girl calm down a little. After Sansa cried for some time, she finally stopped and asked Edward how she got here.

"After your father's death, I planned to get you out of King's Landing and sent men to take you out. They did not tell you because I ordered them not to do that. I wanted everyone to think you are dead until I return." Said Edward explaining everything to her.

"What about Arya and Jon?" Asked the girl as she looked at Edward. Fortunately for Edward, although she got a little wiser after what happened in King's Landing, she was naive in front of him, and he could trick her.

"Your sister is having special training and would only come out after a few months. She still did not know about what happened. As for Jon, he is far North. He heard about what happened and wanted to come down to save everyone, but he had a lot more pressing matters." Said Edward as he shook his head. Jon Snow saw with his own eyes what was happening in the North. When he saw the wights and the white walkers, he decided to stay and fight on the frontline. He stayed with the free folks in Hardhome since the attack on the fort was aggressive.
