Aunt Shelly and Uncle Chen

As the alarm continued ringing, Rin struggled to open her eyes as everything that happened yesterday was too much for her. From the meeting with Jin and the accident following their meeting to the waking up from her sleep and then the excitement which she felt after reading the note left by Jin. Then the most stressful event, the encounter with the Angel Of Death, Azraeel.

As Rin opened her sleepy eyes and got up to get ready for the new day and the things she would be facing soon because of the accident yesterday, she sighed to herself and said " It's gonna be hard from now on, but still trying to live is better than being dead " . As she said this, she had a hopeful look but she didn't know that it won't be easy as just ' trying to live ' .

Rin got up from her bed and went to take a bath. And after which she started to get ready for her work . It's not like she could stop working and stay holed up in her room just because she has to stay alive . Just when Rin was going to leave her house, she remembered Azraeel telling her something right before waking up because of the annoying alarm. As Rin was in deep thought, she said " What did he mean by 'There is a way bu...yo...ha.....own', if I connect the dots then could it be that he is telling me that I have to find it on my own. It must be this. ". Rin decided that Azraeel was telling her that she would have to find that way by herself to stay alive.

While thinking she left her house and went to work . Rin worked in her aunt's restaurant. Her aunt had an unparalleled beauty and even her name which was Shelly went really great with her beauty. Rin started working at Shelly's restaurant as a part timer, right after graduating college. She would basically help her aunt in her cooking like playing the role of an assistant of chef but soon she became a better cook than her aunt . Though she didn't enjoy her job but because of her aunts bugging, she started working as the main chef .

Rin entered the restaurant, as soon as she entered the place she could hear shellys voice. Shelly who was already waiting for Rin said " Oh my lovely niece , you are finally here " . Rin looked at shelly who was nothing less than what you would call a national beauty and smiled back at shelly, welcoming her and said " Yes, I also missed you aunt. I have so much to tell you . Oh my God you won't believe what I had to go through yesterday " . Shelly was surprised after listening to her niece who was already going overboard over a one day experience. The reason of being surprised was because Rin only acted like this during her teens when she used to be fangirling over the idol group 'MOONKIDS' but it had been ages since she behaved like this. With the surprised expression which made shelly look so cute that even the girls looking at her would fall in love with her in a single glance, started scolding Rin " Oh Rin , don't tell me you started your crazy hobby again?. I told u before that it's a waste of time and even if u have a crush on one of the boys of that group, he will never notice you " . Rin scoffed at shellys remark and said, " it's not about that. Aunt, at least listen to what I have to say ". After which Rin told her aunt everything starting from the encounter with her crush from Moonkids 'Jin ' in the middle of the road to the end, that is the dream about the meeting with Angel of death ' Azraeel '. Rin was so immersed in her story telling that she didn't even notice her aunt's expression throughout the whole story time. Shellys lips were curved in an exact copy of ' O ' and she was waiting for Rin to end her unbelievable story. When Rin looked at shelly and saw her looking at her like she didn't believe a single word . Well who would believe a story in which a lady and a man survives a full on crash with a truck. In the end, Rin stopped and looked at Shelly for a second then suddenly started giggling as of the joke was over, to which shelly responded by pulling Rins cheeks .

While the two ladies were enjoying their time messing around with each other a man was looking at them through the glass door of the restaurant. The creepy man who was quite tall with silver white hair and silver eyebrows , had a mysterious smile which soon vanished as he entered the restaurant.

Shelly and Rin saw the tall man entering the restaurant and they both stood up from their seats and greeted him, " Welcome, Uncle Chen " . As Rin welcomed Chen with Shelly , she thought of the time Chen first visited their restaurant and the time when he answered her .

Uncle Chen was a regular customer who started coming to shellys restaurant everyday for all three of his meals ever since Rin joined as a part timer. He would usually steal looks at Rin everytime he was here and then leave after finishing his food and paying for it . Chen was a weird man since the first day he came to order his food. As he would always order his food by pointing at the dish in the menu and never saying a word. Till one day when Rin curiously asked Uncle Chen , " Sir, Why do you keep on stealing glances at me while eating your food ? " to which Chen opened his mouth and stared at Rin for a while before replying ," I have a brother. He is my only family in this World. I have never seen my parents but my brothers love for me had never let me miss that emptiness of not having been with your parents. He was the kindest man you would ever know till one day some people took advantage of his kindness and forced him on a path on which he had to walk alone. So, since then I have only met him this many times" Chen closed his hand in a fist and with sad eyes filled with sorrow raised his index finger and continued " Only once .As for your question, looking at you always makes me remember my brother . And you can call me Uncle Chen instead of Sir. "

As Rin was lost in her thoughts, Chen pulled back a chair and sat on it. Then he took the menu on the table and pointed on the omelette he always ordered for breakfast. After which Rin went to cook his omelette in the kitchen which was visible for the sitting area. And Chen kept on looking at Rin with affection in his eyes as if he was looking for his brother in her.
