Runaway wolf

As I got out of the shower, I realized just how sore I was. I'd spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning up from the party. Unfortunately, people can't keep theirselves in check, so I had a lot of broken beer bottles to clean up.

I slicked back my hair with the left over water in it and wrapped a white towel around my waist. I stood on the tile floor just outside of the shower as my memories returned to last night. I'd fucked a werewolf on this very floor. I can't believe I let myself do that.

Mikey probably thinks I'm a jerk, or worse...

I shook my head and went into my room to put on some clothes. After I was dressed and finally had a moment to relax, I felt my phone ring in my pocket. Dammit, who is it now?

I looked at the number. It was unknown. I usually never answered stuff like this, but I was bored anyways. "Hello?" I said plainly through the phone. I could hear heavy breathing and panting on the other line.

"Hello; who is this?" I asked, slightly confused. "I-it's me... M-Mikey..." the boyish voice came through.

"Mikey? What happened, what's wrong?" I immediately worried. "It was my brother... h-he..." the werewolf boy started. "What did he do Mikey?" I asked loudly. It was a good thing my parents went away on that damn business trip.

"He threatened to beat me and kill me if I didn't leave..." From what I heard, he was about to cry. "W-why Mikey? Why did he say that?!" I felt myself getting angry. I barely knew this boy, yet I couldn't keep my emotions in check.

"B-because... he could smell you on me! He called me a whore, and said that I was a disgrace to all werewolf kind..." he whimpered. I heard soft sobs come from the other line.

"Hey, where are you now? I'll come and pick you up." I said calmly. "N-no that's ok, you don't have to." Mikey stuttered. "I want to. Now, where are you?" There was a brief silence.

"22nd street by the park..." he cried. "Alright, I'll be there in twenty minutes. Stay where you are." I said as I hung up. Of course it had to be his brother.

If I'd known it was gonna be like this, I would've just given up last night and got his brother. I didn't mean to hurt him like that... this was all my fault.

I quickly got into my black car and began driving. I had to force myself not to speed all the way there. After all, I didn't want to get pulled over and it all be for nothing. Twenty minutes seemed like years as I passed the park.

I couldn't see him. God- I hope he didn't run...

I parked in one of the vacant areas and got out of the black mustang. "Mikey? Mikey where are you?" I asked loudly. My intent was to shout, but there were already people looking over at me. Ya know what...those people can shove it.

"Mikey?!" I shouted. I saw a tuft of chestnut brown hair pop up from behind a bench. It had to be him.

I quickly strode over to the bench and peeled behind it. There I saw Mickey, red eyed and crying softly.

"There you are! Are you alright?" I asked frantically. "I-I'm fine..." He mumbled. "Are you sure? He didn't hurt you, did he?" "No... I'm alright I promise... I-I only called you because- I don't have anywhere else to go." Mikey cried.

"It's alright. It's ok, I'm here." I hugged the omega boy as he leaned against my shoulder sobbing. "Cmon, I'll take you to my house and we can talk more there." I said quietly. He only nodded in response.

...

As soon as we pulled up to my house, he immediately looked relieved. I could smell it. His pheromones were wild earlier, and he seemed to be releasing them like crazy. I'm surprised some alpha hasn't come by and snatched him up! Oh wait...

I shook my head and opened his door for him. Not because he was incapable, but because it seemed like the gentlemanly thing to do. He got out and slowly walked to the door. "Are you alright? You seem like you're out of energy." I don't know if I pried too much with that one or not.

"I-I'm fine. I ran all the way to the park from my house in my damn wolf form, so... I-I'm just tired..." He muttered. "I see. Well let's get you inside. I'll get you something to eat." I said as I helped him inside.

I sat him down on the living room sofa as I wandered to the fridge to find something suitable for him to eat. After a few moments, I found something that wouldn't seem too disgusting. Most of the household food was bloody stuff. Meats to be specific, or sometimes just pure blood. I of course liked normal food too, I mean I'm not a complete savage...

I handed him some cold pizza and a water bottle as he sat there breathing deeply. He took the food and continued to sniff the air. "What is it? I can heat it up if you like..." I rambled. "N-no no, I like it cold. It's just that something smells good." He said, sniffing the air once again.

He followed his nose and stood slowly. He sniffed his way over to the recliner chair where I could almost feel the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. "Do you own a cat?" He asked calmly. "Yeah, is that a problem, with you being part canine and all?" I asked confusedly.

"Eh- no. I hate cats, but I'm not gonna attack it or anything. Geez- I'm not feral, you fuckface..." It seemed he was slowly returning to normal. I chuckled. "That's no way to talk to the person that took you in, now is it~?" I cooed. I watched from a distance as his cheeks grew red.

"Y-you're taking me in?" He asked in an almost surprised manner. "Well yeah. I can't just leave you on the streets. That would make me a terrible person and an even worse alpha." I stated plainly. His entire face grew as red as a hot coal.

"D-dont go saying shit like that! Besides, you aren't my alpha... w-we're uh- we're friends and nothing more! I think..." He whispered the last part, but of course, I still heard it. "Hell, I don't even need an alpha! Alphas suck!" He yelled. It almost hurt my feelings, the way he said that with such malicious intent.

"That's not very nice. Not all alphas are like that...Just most of them." I said, realizing that he was right. "Well- uh, I mean you don't suck, b-but I- Oh never mind, god dammit." He said as he sat down, shoving the cold pizza into his mouth.

He ate quickly, and guzzled down the entire bottle of water. "I gotta take a leak, I'll be right back." Mikey stood up. "Need me to show you where it is~?" I asked teasingly. "No! I-I mean- no, I think I have a pretty good idea of where it is." He rambled as he quickly walked over to the very bathroom which we were in last night.

When he came back and plopped down on the couch. He looked around, pressing his lips together in a cute manner. "So uh... what now?" He asked, clearly trying to ignore the tears building in his eyes.

"Hey, don't cry." I said, scooting closer to the brunet. "I-I'm not crying, d-dammit!" He curled up and cried into his eyes silently. I sighed and gently rubbed small circles into his back. "There's no need to cry now, you're alright. I promise I won't let him hurt you." I whispered near his ear. The omega seemed to shiver at the words.

"Gosh.... you make it sound like we're some fuckin' mated pair or whatever." The smaller boy laughed with tears still in his eyes. As he said this, I could feel my cheeks flush a rosy color. I hadn't thought about it until now, but I could almost feel his emotions. It felt different, but...right. Maybe...no no it couldn't be. There's no possible way.

I shook my head and gave a small chuckle to evade a possible conversation about it. "Yeah- uh... hehe." Was all I could manage to sputter out of my now, not-so intelligent mouth.

Mikey though, seemed to read my thoughts. "Y-you're kidding right?" He asked. "Yeah- I uh- I was just kidding, hahahaha!" I laughed nervously. "Right- ehehe." Mikey turned a light shade of pink as he held back a small smile.

There in that moment, I felt something. It felt...good. It felt so right. I wanted more of it. I hadn't realized it earlier, but I was leaning towards his face, and I could only feel pure, untainted love.
