Thomas: Your relationship with her has ended?

Piper: Yes, I'm not sure how I got up in a relationship with her. Despite the fact that I adore her.

Thomas: Pip, you're aware. You two are truly a wonderful combination. She is the one who is exaggerating her feelings for you.

Piper: Tom, I'm at a loss.

Thomas: Who made the request for you to break up first?

Piper: She certainly was.

Thomas: Someone is on my house, wait a minute.

Piper: Who?

Thomas: Maybe that's Ella.

Piper: Oh, okay.

Thomas placed his smartphone on the study table and walked downstairs to see who had arrived. Alex, Ella's best friend, was out to be the one who rang the bell. Thomas notices that Alex seemed to have slipped past Ella unobserved. So Alex went to Thomas's place in stealth to do something.

As Alex approached Thomas' front door, he said, "Please come in."

Thomas was preparing drinks for Alex after Alex entered the house.

After 3 minutes, Thomas brought Alex and himself 2 cups of tea each.

"You're Alex, am I correct?"

"Ella's buddy, I am. More than likely, it's a best buddy."

Ella didn't seem to have a tomboyish female companion like Katrina, according to Thomas.

"O —- alright... Yeah, best pal..."

"Yes."

"So, Alex, what's the point of this?"

"I'd like to speak with you about your connection with Ella."

"What's the matter?"

"I didn't want to know anything else... And I didn't ask her about it so she wouldn't be upset by my inquiry."

"Ella and I get along well, Alex. We simply wish to maintain our distance."

"You act as though you've split up with Ella; are you two dating?"

"No, we're not dating," Thomas said with a shake of his head.

Alex seemed to be dissatisfied. "Unfortunately, despite the fact that you two are a terrific fit. But I'm guessing..."

Alex immediately terminated the conversation's aim.

"I'm sorry, I simply forgot about it earlier."

"What exactly do you mean?"

"Never mind, let's not worry about it. Chase her, that's all I have to say. Someone you know should not have her." Then she got up, drank her tea, and left Thomas's home.

"Thomas, I want to thank you for pouring me tea. The person you are is a nice one.", Alex smiled at Thomas as she walked by.

When Thomas returned to his room after chatting to Alex, he closed the door, locked it, washed 2 tiny plates, and used drinking glasses before returning to check what news Alex had shared with him.

According to reports, Forrest left him a message for him to read.

Forrest: Hello there, Tom. Are you available right now?

Forrest: I wanted to send you a message.

Thomas: Please let me know what message that you want to send.

Forrest: Forrest sent a photo.

Thomas: What is it?

Forrest: You know, that's an internet ticket to the school's New Year's Eve celebrations. Have you looked at the school's social media?

Thomas: I don't use social media, Forrest.

Forrest: Oh, yeah? I had a feeling.

Thomas: When did the school reopen the event after it had been canceled?

Forrest: I'm not sure why they keep holding New Year's Eve parties.

Thomas: A few hours earlier, the teacher said that the event had been canceled, but then the decision was reversed. Forrest, when did you hear the news?

Forrest: A few minutes ago.

Thomas: Oh, I see.

Thomas: Oh, yeah. Did you talk to Katrina about Piper's behavior?

Forrest: Yes, I spoke to her.

Thomas: Oh, Forrest... What exactly did you do?

Forrest: I simply wanted to inquire about Katrina's issue with Piper. What transpired?

Thomas: They broke up.

Forrest: What?? Did they break up?

Thomas: Yes, of course.

Forrest: You're not lying?

Thomas: Why would I lie, Forrest?

Forrest: Who told you that?

Thomas: Piper.

Forrest: Oh, that's okay. Andy and Drake are bugging me again since I left them playing video games on the console. I have to leave now.

Thomas: Okay. See you later.

After chatting with Forrest, Thomas took a nap.

After a few hours...

Thomas, who had just awoken, said, "Ugh... What time is it?"

It was 7 p.m., and he had no idea whether or not his mother and Maya had returned from their job. He sprang out of bed and dashed downstairs. Mother and Maya (who was sleeping on mother's lap) were already in the living room watching television when he arrived.

"Hello there, Thomas. Have you just awoken? Because you slept so comfortably, I'm sorry I didn't wake you up."

"Yes, it's OK. Have you have a meal?"

"Yes. In the drying chamber, why do I see two tiny plates and a glass? Were were any visitors at the residence?"

"Yes, there were visitors this afternoon."

Maya said, "Is that visitor Ella?"

"The visitor is Alex, Ella's friend."

"Ella's friend? Really? Tom, maybe he's Ella's boyfriend. Isn't he here to advise you to keep away from her? ", Mother inquired.

Oh, my goodness. - Thomas.

"Alex is a girl, mom," says the narrator.

Maya sprang up from Mother's lap and said, "A girl?"

"Did Ella choose to be a lesbian?" Mother inquired.

"No way, mom. Despite the fact that Alex is a tomboy, they are simply friends, so don't anticipate anything out of the ordinary."

"Sorry."

"All right, I'll eat first."

Thomas then ate supper and watched TV with his mother and Maya.

December 7, 2020 (6 days after the breakup of Piper and Katrina, the online school began to be implemented)

Thomas nudged the alarm clock to collapse, saying, "Damn alarm clock!"

Thomas arose from his bed and went about his regular routine right away. Afterwards, he walked down to the basement to eat breakfast with his mother and his sister. Maya has announced that she would be moving in with her partner, Dominica, starting tomorrow.

"Is it a little too quick for you, dear? I don't want you to spend too much time with her."

"What's up, mom?"

"Yes, I know that you adore Dominica, and I don't prohibit you from feeling that way. COVID-19 is now in progress, and I do not want you to become infected with it."

"You are too dramatic, you know. Take it easy, I'll wear a mask and have even told Dominica that I'm going to sleep on her sofa in the living room, easy right?"

Maya's decision to stay at her girlfriend's place appears to be causing her mother some concern.

"Are you going to live with her by yourself?"

"No, Riley will be there."

"I see," says the narrator.

Oh, sure. Maya's coworker is Riley. They're great buddies who get along swimmingly. Riley was the one who initially introduced Maya to alcoholic beverages till she became addicted.

"I'm not going to ask any more questions; the most essential thing is that I trust you."

Mom is skeptical that Maya will choose to live with her partner, Dominica. Maya, on the other hand, I feel will keep in touch with us for as long as she lives there.
