He faked my death several years ago in this exact manner." Her face was pale. "Do you think Lana could be of any use to a syndicate?"

"Aside from having the loudest mouth? No, I don't think so." He had considered all the possibilities and he knew that if Santino wanted a woman to do his dirty work, he had a much higher chance of success if he forced Kara back into the syndicate. "Unless, he doesn't want her for her expertise."
