Valmitotarmis Spider

"So Cyris called for help. Is that his way of trying to tie me down?" The young Lord inquired, running his indifferent gaze over those by the Red Priest side. There they stood, trembling, unable to turn from the Valmitotarmis Spider clawing at the impenetrable barrier that surrounded them.

Placing the bottom end of his shakujo down, the Red Priest shifted his attention upon the monstrosity striking his barrier sending endless ripples through.

"I believe it's quite a fruitful endeavor to have our school begin to branch out and what better way to do so than to bring peace to a nation? With your actions, I am sure war would be on the horizon in a matter of a year or two." He explained with the echoes of this Shakujo. Opening his right hand, a small golden orb gathered at his hand.

"War is inevitable, and a treaty will not solve any issue, at least not in the long run," Zireael said, as Drilon handed him a pouch of gold. Sending it to Ella, his gaze never left the Priest, who appeared rather indifferent regarding the monster before him.

"True, but it's all about appearances, don't you think? But how about we make another deal? You deal with this insect after I injure it. And in return, I tell you who is after that little girl by your shoulder." Said the Priest with a cunning smile, masking his real intent.

Losing his cold, calculating smile, a silver flicker flashed. Appearing in a ray of light beside the Valmitotarmis Spider. A single eye of the Priest opened, reviling an amethyst color filled with a devilish glow. Housing a malice unbecoming of Priest, he grinned.

"Do we have a deal?"

"We do, but the treasure here is owers," Zireael replied with icy intent.

"Ten percent,' He declared,

"All of it, and think of this as an investment." Zireael coldly replied, not in the least caring if he was offending the Red Priest. He shot the little girl in the distance, watching a stare that seemed to seize the heavens. Noticing the enchanting gold capturing everything, he returned his attention towards the Priest.

Curling his lips down, the Valmitotarmis Spider squealed, shaking the entire crypt, turning his attention towards Zireael, who appeared defenseless. A green venom trickled from its mouth onto the marble floor, creating a sizzling noise that resounded through the entire tomb.

"Fine, but you now owe me a favor." Said the Red Priest handing the Lord a letter. Flickering to Drillons side with his two students by his side, he beckoned, "Come, Drillon, we have much to do. meeting you once more." He respectfully said, shooting the children all a profound glance with his kind expression; he chuckled, "I look forward to seeing you again. The amount of potential the Silver Devil has by his side appears to be quite horrifying." He said, leaving without another word.

Opening its mouth wide, the Valmitotarmis Spider roared, sending a vicious beam of venom towards Zireael. Weaving as if he had already foreseen such an attack, the young Lord waved his hand, sending the letter away.

"Come, everyone, and try not to die here." He said, carrying a solemn expression.

Permeated with fear, Aurelia gulped, shaking with each step towards the giant spider glaring with all thirteen eyes. Seeing its meal dodge, a vast amount of colorful webs shot from its mouth, attempting to cover the young duke.

"Aurelia! I need fire. Hurry the hell up!" Yelled Zireael, leaping away.

Pitching his sword just above the spider, Zireael vanished, appearing just where he wished with his weapon in hand. Halting his position with the flow of arcana around his body, the young Lord's icy eyes and sharp brow narrowed.

Landing onto the brushy hard fur of the spider's abdomen, the glint of Zireaels blade tunneled into its tough flesh. Causing the Valmitotarmis Spider to spiral out of control. However, the young Lord remained still gorging to his heart, content with vicious intent.

Bending its eight legs, the Valmitotarmis Spider leaped into the air. Zireael, feeling heavy pressure against him, hastily rolled away in the nick of time as the spider smashed into the ceiling. Sending various cracks all around. The insect roared in pain, falling back to the ground when two firebolts struck its face.

Exploding with a defining blast, Aurelia and Ella appeared, with Sionn leading the way. Carrying a heavy expression filled with a hint of excitement, the children gave a mighty war cry.

"Do not get caught in its webs,' Anima informed as Sionn stopped before the smoke surrounding the beast began to clear.

"This is a level Two beast," Zireael informed in a threatening tone, "Its exoskeleton is very mighty, so none enchanted weapons will not hurt it. Sionn, all you need to do is guard and draw attention. Leave damaging the beast to me, Ella and Aurelia."

"Understood," Said the Young Guardian, covered in a heavy sweat. Gulping down, his legs began to tremble as all thirteen eyes of the spider fell upon him. Bleeding an emerald liquid from its face and body, a slight numbing sensation gripped Sionns limbs. Releasing a deep breath, he pushed down his fear, leaving on the excitement.

"We need to finish this before its blood turns into a miasma," Zireael grimly warned, shooting off the ground like a bolt of lightning. He flashed behind Sionn, whispering into his ear, "This is your chance, risk it all, and I shall give you all."

Taking off towards the beast, Sionn did not hesitate to push all he had into his feet. He rolled as the vicious burr of two spider legs clawed at his previous position. Managing to evade death, Zireael, who had been shadowing his body, abruptly attacked.

Hiding his body behind Sionn, two silver crescent sword lights shone clashing into the beast. Cutting heavily into its flesh with great precision. Aurelia arrived before its open wound, casting a powerful force blast using her staff as a catalyst.

Staggering a few steps, the beast whimpered in anguish when all of a sudden, the force bullets caught two of its eyes. Flailing once again, a golden flame-like arcana began to glint from its body.

"Careful! It's enhancing its body with Qi. " Zireael hastily roared in panic when all of a sudden, a lighting fast claw shot towards aurelia.

No time to dodge, she instantly cast force blast. Blocking its vicious strike, Auralia herself was blasted off her feet, slapping so heavily into the wall blood gushed from her eyes and mouth. Creating a small indent within the wall's surface, her still body slithered down, leaving behind a bloody pillar of gore flowing from her back.

"Shit!"
