Zariel's Infamy

Hush whispers ran with fear across shadows carrying the name that none dared to speak, much less murmur.

"Is Master's name really Zariel Snow?" Ella questioned, baffled by what she had learned. Under the shade of a lonesome tree.

Aurelia did not answer, having heard the whisper of Mephisto that day. Witnessing his power, his knowledge, and coldness, she held her tongue.

"We should use this?" Said Sionn softly.

"Use it? What does that even mean." Said Ella, glancing around at the growing malice.

Wrapping her arms around Ella and Sionn, Aurelia pulled them in and spoke in a hushed tone, "Say nothing, ok? Ella, I didn't use your last name because your family is famous. We are now targets."

Ella's expression grew solemn. "Then what are we to do? We have no weapons on our person. How are we to defend ourselves?"

"Not here." Said Aurelia. "Trust me, ok! The both of you."

The was an eerie silence beneath the shade. Aurelia had not spoken of it, but she understood that there were Arcane Spells that could improve one's hearing or record them. Ways that could allow someone to spy.

"Fine, but it seems like you two are keeping secrets, and we need answers," Sionn said grimly.

Releasing a bitter air, Aurelia nodded, "Let's go. We need to know what is going on."

Moving past the shade and into the light holding seven stars, Aurelia, followed by Ella and Sionn, pressed towards the encampment of children close to her age.

There was a faint wisp of steel and coal in the air. As the clanking of hammers, the grinding of steel rang throughout the pasture.

"Murder! Devil! Bastard!" Shouted a lonesome child with bronze-gold colored skin, carrying ruby red scales that etched from his fings to his arms. He was a bit tall for his age, holding broad shoulders and golden reptilian eyes.

"A lizard!" Said Sionn, "An ugly one too."

Gritting his teeth, Gu'lem Sargi'la bore his orc shape fangs that ran from his bottom lip and up. "Scum, the three of you. Your Master, the Great Prince of Sin, is a monster! A devil!"

Crossing her arms with a smile, Aurelia spoke, "Oh really? So what? Did he kill your mother? Your father? Guess it doesn't matter. Fuck off."

Gu'lem's eyes widen, "What the hell? How can you be so cruel?"

"What do you expect, Gu'lem? Look at her; she is probably his whore, same for the other one." Said a young man in his late teens, glancing at the elegant silver crown upon his head and pointed ear; Aurelia's smile never faltered.

Letting the insults wash over her ears, she merely listened, trying to get a grasp of the infamy her Master brought on. It was a bit curious to her. How one man, one child, conveyed so much hostility.

"A little more than two century's and that beast, dears show his face, much less his name to the royal family after his betrayed? No wonder that bitch he called mother was sold to be killed behind enemy lines." Said the Young Elven Lord, carrying a scornful smile on his graceful appearance that would shame the prettiest woman.

"She got off easy. had she known what that devil spawn did, King Titus would have sent her to Tartarus." Said Kalna, the young daughter of the Lord of Winterpool, one of Illuthaths more industrialized cities, who approached.

Aurelia held her tongue as a faint memory of Zariels drunken stupor each year ran over her mind, recalling the soft whimpers he had behind closed doors. Glancing back at Ella, who had remained passive as a god, and Sionn gritting his teeth, she did not try to comfort him.

"Will you get out of my way now?" Said Aurelia calmly.

"Quite a bit of spunk on you." Said the Elve Lord, Calthorian Lithlum, known by many as the Blood Prince. Passing his hands through his sterling bangs, he smiled coldly.

Glancing at the silver handle of the longsword on Calthorian's waist, Aurelia scuffed.

"Allow me to introduce myself, I am--"

"I don't particularly care." Aurelia casually said, stepping towards Gu'lem, who blocked her path, "Will you move, or should I remove you?"

"you can try." Gu'lem challenged, arching his brutish head high, he placed his right hand over the scimitars at his waist.

A chilling gleam sparkled in Aurelia's golden eyes, "Oh really?" She said, "then don't die?"

"HuH?" Confused Gu'lem eyes suddenly widened as blood suddenly whisked through the air: Starstruck, his gaze locked with Aurelia's hands stained with blood.

Tearing through his jaw, the young fallen ripped away the lizard's jaw with a ruthless slap that could compare with the speed and power of a tier beast without the use of Acana, bathing the scene red; a deranged howl rang as Gu'lam clenched his missing jaw.

Plunging to his knees, he wailed just as Aurelia's foot came crashing down on his defenseless head, stuffing out the sound from the air; she smiled cutely, "That's better," she said, stomping down til the sounds of bone-shattering rang.

Shaken at the brutal scene, the eyes of everyone dared not linger for a single moment. While they were elites of their family, witnessing someone's head being caved in was not a pretty sight, even for those who had familiarity with death.

Continuing on till all that was left was a bloody mess, Aurelia licked her scarlet fingers, "How boring, and I thought there would be some resistance."

Shooting Ella a knowing glance, she shook her head, surprising Aurelia for some strange reason. Nodding, she shot Sionn a glance, who in turn kneeled over the corpse of Gu'lan, and removed his scimitar and whatever valuable he had on his body.

Touching her hands, Aurelia smiled, "Cleanse," She chanted as a scene of magical nodes appeared, wiping clean her body of all dirt and blood.

"So you have inherited the Silver Devils' cruelty." Calthorian grimly said cold to the bone, "You just killed a man, and robbed him, have you no decency?"

Sionn smiled, "Aurelia, Ella look away," He said, dropping his pants.

Turning away instantly with blushing cheeks, the sounds of water trickled over the silence. "AHHH~" Sionn moaned, nodding his head with bliss, "This may have been the best piss of my life. What were you saying, little Elf?"

Calthorian Lithlum's expression turned dark, "You will regret this."

"I'm afraid I won't. I needed to take a piss for a while." Sionn announced, pulling up his trousers. "May he find peace in a river of my piss."
