Demon Lord Ifrit

The tranquil night had died, fading into dawn, filled with the soft snores of a young child resting in the arms of the silver Devil.

Nibbling on the tip of his neck as she whispered 'vampire bite' as though it were her mantra, the Zhu's arms curled around Zariels body, as drool trickled down his tunic, stirring him away, as first light struck.

'She's doing it again.' He thought, unable to stop himself from smiling. He turned his head, becoming even more startled as two pairs of golden eyes continued to stare.

An enveloping silence washed over the duo as they tried to find the words to speak, but nothing seemed to echo, something Aurelia found odd, as she never had a problem making conversation before.

But for some reason, she was quiet.

"Morning," Zariel said.

"Hmmm."

"..."

Lost for words, Zairel skillfully unlatched himself from the bloodsucker trying to bite him, resting her on the bed.

"Hungry," Aurelia said.

"Same, but I'm not making breakfast; let's go out to eat," He responded, wondering how she even got into his bed as the last few nights were a blur.

"Hungry!" she repeated, puffing her cheeks.

Ignoring the young lass, Zariel cast a cleanse spell before making his way out of his room to a table that sat everyone from the Order, including the dean, alongside the High Priestess and Grandmaster.

Ignoring the grim tension in the air, Zariel found a seat and slid his silvery eyes to Zero, who began to fill him in.

"It would seem like your sister is not only here to see you. There seems to be a seal loose here in Alos." He formally said.

"I've heard. It's about Tiamat, is it not?" He said, unsure why it mattered to them.

"No, I've heard your reports regarding her, but I'm afraid it's not that. It will appear that there existed another on this planet. Have you heard anything regarding strange monsters roaming about?"

Zariel did not answer, and Zero had taken his silence for no.

"Based upon what little information I've gathered, it will seem like a beast was spotted a few months ago near the outskirts of Ferrum; the red priest and the vampire woman both seemed to have been aware, but when looking to engage, the beast had vanished, leaving no trace of itself."

"And it will appear Zhu has been selected to kill this beast and patch the seal hidden somewhere in this world." Arsene softly added, "But we don't know who was sealed."

"The remnant power of Demon Lord Ifrit's essence resides there," Ildurla revealed, releasing a long sigh, "Back when his disciple mysteriously vanished, a sliver of his power remained behind."

"I'm sorry, but who is this?" Iz couldn't help but say. "I've never heard of this person."

'That's because when he existed, that man was so feared none dared to tell his history. Even when he vanished, under odd circumstances, the memory of him began to trickle away from everyone's minds. But who this disciple was isn't important. " She said, not wishing to speak of this mysterious man, " who his master now, however, is."

Zero tapped his fingers over the table in a soft rhythm as he waited for Ildurla to continue. "As you know, The Exalted Wheel, where we resided, houses twelve major realms, each with its laws. In the Land of Elysium, the Holy land of Magic, there exist a place known as the Sea of Elements. A place where the Dao is so attuned with the Heavens, they managed to create several types of Sovereign Elements."

"I've never heard of that?" Said Zariel.

"That's because once this person overcomes the challenge to obtain the Sovereign Element, they become the Monarch of said Element." She said, startling everyone at the table.

Coming out of Zariels room, Aurelia closely listened.

"Well, Demon Lord Ifrit, whom even I have little information about, had gifted his disciple the Sovereign Element of Fire to become the Monarch of Fire, which in a way came with its advantages, such as gaining a powerful Concept. This demon, whoever he was, was able to create a terrible monster who terrified everyone in the Iluthatht to the Sea of Chaos, leading five Chaos Lords at the time to seal the essence left behind by his disciple."

Vancurro smirked, almost sneering, as he narrowed his eye with a hint of disbelief, "you telling me chaos lords, beings who are said to be the most greedy of all people, we're able to resist the urge to steal Demon Lord Ifrit's essence? I call bull shit!"

"I'd have to agree," added in Iz and KO.

But neither Zairel nor Zero said anything back, as they understood the implications.

"Was the aura so foul, it scared Chaos Lords?" Zariel inquired, stroking his chin.

"Indeed. I wasn't a Chaos Lord at the time, but simply sealing the essence of this demon Lord led to the death of three of the five Chaos Lords." Ildurla swiftly mentioned, holding Zariel in her sight; she slowly arched her lips in a patient manner, "And I'd like for you to help your little sister patch this seal."

"Help her? The hell can she do to stop this?"

"You're underestimating our little chosen," said Flay, crossing her arms over her chest. "There is not one thing that little minx can't repair. Her ability is so broken we fear using such an ability in the Prime Realm."

"Rebirth," Both Zariel and Arsene said together. And their expression both darkened.

"Has it gotten stronger?"

"It has," Said Zero startling everyone, " I've been keeping an eye on her from a distance, and I'll say we keep her from using it, less she ends up like Zariel."

The Young Master could not have agreed more as he nodded, clenching his fist, thinking about what the Sovereign of the Heavens had done to him," I'll help, but you have to understand my hands are tied here and now with Aurelia. Zhu will have to find the Seal of Demon Lord Ifrit on her own."

There was a bit of a smile on his lips as he said those words that grabbed the attention of Aurelia, Zero, and Ildurla, as all three could sense a plot returning.

"Dumb-Dumb, please don't."

"Don't what?" He replied, tapping the hilt of his sword.

"Don't do whatever your thinking. You'll kill us all." Said Zero eyeing him sternly behind his mask that shimmered a dark glow.

"Nope!"
