Bloodline

A grim air billowed with the scent of brimstone across the Kafiea mountains as Mephisto stared dead at Lilith, the Mother of Demons.

She crossed her arms, refusing to be baited by the trickster whose scorn couldn't be mistaken for anything but disdain. It was commonly known throughout the Myriad Heavens amongst the higher-level beings that Mephisto disdained Lilith. Despite lucifer's action to help mediate their icy relationship, the Sovereign of the Nine Hells had failed on many occasions.

Lilith's head dipped a little but quickly rose with an icy fire, "I am Lucifers woman. I have the right—"

"You've got the right to die by my hand." The Fallen uttered in such a sharp tone, the snow leaving the skies felt like swords piercing into Lilith's heart. Never before had she felt such a cold intent reaching so deep into her soul, nor had she ever seen Mephisto so serious.

An audible gulp left Lilith's throat as she felt the Angel of Death, Azrael's invisible blade upon her neck. Fear danced along her spine as she nodded.

"I-I'm only here because of the Fel, connected to Yuki Snow." She finally said as Mephisto sneered.

"And this is why I don't like telling my brother anything," Mephisto remarked, rolling his eyes. "That pussy whipped idiot will spill anything after sex. The boy, Zariel Snow, knows nothing regarding his Mother." He explained, shaking his head, "Even I don't know despite everything I've done. It will seem she has Time Locked just about everything."

"Mephisto, you promised me! You promised I would find the Fell Arms!!" She snapped with an icy glow in her scarlet eyes. "Even if you kill me. You will not stop me from interrogating the children of Yuki Snow."

Turning into nodes of scarlet light, Lilith vanished into the ether, leaving nothing behind but the smiling devil. " how easy it is to rile her up. Foolish little thing." he claimed in a slew of laughter, "Buckle up, Zariel, the Demonic Whore has you in her sight. "

"Mr. Wolf, you shall be my mount from here on out!" Aurelia shouted, leaping onto the towering wolf, with a bright child-like smile. Enjoying the fluffy white fur rubbing against her legs, she giggled as she laid her small head against the wolf's mane.

"Awooo!" Howling to the heavens in confirmation, the snow-white wolf nodded and dashed forwards as Aurelia cheered it on.

'Go Go GOOOOO!!!"

Winds pressing against her face, Aurelia flashed through the desolate tundra of snow, an ice feeling utterly free.

"My lady, all you need is a small sliver of blood from the beast." Eldritch calmly told, watching his master stare at the ice when he suddenly noticed the absent look in Aurelia's eyes.

A chill ran down his soul flame as a pulse rippled through the Heavens, stirring the land, sending a tremor through the earth.

The wolf paused and fell to its knees as Aurelia hopped off. Translucent wings of white and black flashed from her back as a burning halo tainted with emerald light emerged above her head, bleeding a seraphic light.

A golden flame suddenly cloaked her flesh as she hovered in the air, shimmering a brilliance beyond the dawn.

"Enlightenment? How!" Said Eldritch as the faint cry of a phoenix reached his ears.

Aurelia's blood began to boil like fire as she turned bright as a tomato, but the glow in her lifeless eyes only seemed to rise as her mind thought of death, light, and magic. Images flashed like bolts of lightning through her mind, searing their way into her soul as she opened her palm.

And from the empty void, the Staff of Eldritch emerged, glistering the power of nightmare.

She thought of the Seven Headed Dragon Tiamat and the ring of destruction she learned, alongside the blazing inferno that visited her dreams and nightmares.

Suddenly like clockwork, it all vanished, nothing behind but the image of a golden blade and the setting of the sun—the setting of Morningstar.

"To my daughter, to my love! To my Aurelia Morningstar!" Lucifer uttered in a booming voice, "I grant you my blessing. I grant you it all! Congrats on awakening our blood!"

Unsheathing the Blade of Morningstar, Aurelia's eyes slowly began to glow with that of the light of the phoenix as she lifted her sword high into the air. The staff of Eldrich that glowed a dark violet light began to shift to a burning gold as the phoenix's cry grew louder and louder till even those outside of the Tower of Souls could hear it.

Fear waged war within the professor's hearts as one after another, they turned to the icy Zariel, carrying a smile that spoke volumes.

Aurelia was grinning, and her blade cleaved downwards, and as if the sun fell from the skies, a blazing inferno of light pierced through the grey clouds in the form of a phoenix, bellowing its eon long wail.

"Descent of Morningstar!" Aurelia howled as the golden blade itself burned a seraphic light.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Light flashed over the setting explosion akin to the falling sun, followed by a blaze wiping away the icy tundra, turning the ice beneath Aurelia's feet to water in but an instant. As a pillar of light shot from the earth to the heavens, the phoenix gave its last cry before the light faded away.

Aurelia stood hovering in the skies, gazing at the oasis she had formed. "Thank you, Father." She absentmindedly said, sensing her father's blessing coursing through her veins.

She lifted her head to the Heavens and smiled, "Thank you! Aurelia feels amazing!"

Glancing down at the sword, the one who gathered all the Arcana she needed to cast such a powerful spell, she couldn't help but childishly smile from ear to ear. As all the knowledge she garnered from the state of enlightenment settled in her soul.

And with the Staff of Eldritch enhancing all spells, Aurelia couldn't help but survey the destruction she had caused.

"I'm going to be a god of Destruction and Death," She promised herself, tightening her fingers over the staff of eldritch and Morningstar. "Aurelia is going to be the strongest. So strong dumb-dumb will kneel before Aurelia!"
