Thorn Lightning

Vesryn eyes narrowed as he traced his calm eyes over the lone wolf bearing its fangs as a warning and then Aurelia, who appeared utterly exhausted, keeping a calm, collected outlook.

"Do you see it?" he whispered to Laris.

"No, she probably just hid it somewhere on her body. It's a slide of the hand trick. We'll just strip her, mate," Came his reply as he glared at the giant wolf. " I'll handle the right. You take the left," he suggested as they began the encirclement around Aurelia and the wolf.

Cold like a sword, Vesryns eyes stared dead at Aurelia as he surveyed her entire body, unable to find anything but the simple school uniform.

She hadn't moved a finger, yet the Arcane Cyrstal had vanished, he thought, sensing something amiss.

"Last chance Aurelia," Said Vesryn, tightening his hold around his knight sword.

Bits of silvery snow dripped from the heavens, stained by the auroras, sheeting the snowy land with its icy embrace. The still cold winds picked up, billowing like knives against their cheeks.

Aurelia released a breath of hot air from her lips and pulled Morningstar from its cage. Her muscles were stiff, and the icy winds did nothing to relieve the pent-up tension, but Aurelia still maintained her composure. She knew she was still stronger and faster despite her handicap.

Her blade lifted, shimmering under the moonlight, as a small thin arcane cloak similar to that of Zariels traced over her skin.

"Ever been fucked like a d—"

Aurelia pounced, piercing through the icy winds; her sword swept towards Laris, splitting the winds that seemed to part by the mere presence of Morningstar.

The snow parted at the sound of the ding that echoed far and wide. Blood trickled from the webs of his palm as he bearly managed to block her sword stroke. The young knight's eyes widened, and his voice thundered, " She's strong as a fucking ogre! Let's hope she fucks like one!"

A/N: -_-

Disgust flickered through aurelia's clear eyes as her feet twisted in a pivot; she sent a vicious kick toward Laris so fast that her shin met his abdomen, knocking the air from his lungs in a swift reaction. Tears instantly swelled like an ocean as he was blasted through sheets of snow. At that very moment, Vesryn's blade came crashing down. However, aurelia didn't bother to dodge as the giant wolf's vicious claw came crashing down.

Batting his sword away from its mark, Aurelia pointed the staff of eldritch towards the starry eye Laris, as a black sigil formed. Violet light splintered the moonlight as arcs of lightning skimmed over the sigil that appeared around Aurelia's staff.

"WHORE!!!!" Bellowed the fallen knight as he lifted his head from the snow, his lips bloodied, and his eyes flushed with anger.

"Demonic Lance," Whispered the fallen, as ethereal wings flashed behind her back.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!

Withing the snow to nothingness, a horrid aura of death clung to the world, darkening the very night as the lance of darkness oozing the violet glow went off.

Horror danced along Vesryn's spine as a roar escaped, " LARIS!!!" He cried, unable to even track the sheer speed of the spell as it collided with his fellow knight. Another explosion filled with demonic light pierced the skies, parting the very clouds as a pillar of something evil spilled over the heavens.

"Laris!!!!' Shouted Vesryn as he rushed towards his friend.

Aurelia's pale cheeks grew paler, but as if something had clicked in her mind, an almighty aura that stood above the very heavens, holding it up as though it could only exist due to her will, came crashing down upon Vesyren, bringing him to his knees.

Morningstar grew ablaze as the very arcana began to be sucked in at a rapid rate filling her empty core with arcane in seconds. The Young Fallen's weary body had become whole.

"I get it," Aurelia said, feeling the blood within her burning hot like liquid fire. She smiled, carrying her eyes away from the fading embers of the spell and allowing them to weigh upon Vesryn.

"Easy, my Queen, this is the power of the sword you carry, not yours," Eldritch warned.

"It feels like mine," Aurelia replied, drawing close to the shivering young man when all of a sudden the alarm spill began to sing, and without thinking, aurelia leaped away with a slight pivot of her feet backward as a blade whipped through the air, cleaving down in the spot she was just at.

Her brow jumped in surprise as she stared at Laris, with an emerald barrier around his body. His face was ashen as he glared with a look that could kill. "You bitch!" He swore," Do you know what you cost me!"

Studying the emerald barrier that clung to his skin, Laris's entire body began to release a vile amount of yin qi that slowly began to turn his skin ivory and his eyes a deep scarlet.

"What are you?" Aurelia stammered to say, taken back by the aura he was releasing.

"Careful, my lady." Eldrich warned, "There is an ancient spirit within his soul, granting him strength."

BOOOOOOOOOM~

Blasting off the surface of Alos, Laris's blade flashed like a bolt of light toward aurelia's neck, who merely leaned backward, dodging his strike with flawless ease. Morningstar, flaring with a blazing light, thundered, slapping across Laris's chest, wishing to cleave him in half. And yet, as her sword touched his chest, a thorn of violet light flashed. Everything had happened so quickly. All Aurelia saw was a violet bolt flicker as her body skipped off the surface of the ice.

Starstruck, she caught herself mid-flight and pierced her blade into the ice, catching herself as a beastal howl bellowed its lonesome cry.

Aurelia lifted her head at the sight of a bright red liquid seeping into the snow as the giant wolf held fell off its body, painting the snow a bright red. Aurelia sucked in a cold breath of air.

"You'll pay for that." She said, touching her chest, which held a vicious gash.

"Thorn Lightning," Eldrich darkly said. "Aurelia, you've got to flee. That's a tier five spell, an immortal spell. Any physical attack you send his way will be absorbed and directed back at you. The ancient soul within him must have cast it."

"Aurelia flees from nothing," The young fallen spat as an emerald flame began to devour the golden light around Morningstar. "We'll see how Thorn Lightning handles my Necrotic Blade."
