A Card In the Presents

"Let's give a round of applause for the phantom dancer." Natasha says as Jordan is about to leave the stage and everyone starts clapping and some even start shouting to show support for the mysterious dancer. Jordan immediately goes to change out of his outfit.

Colby was still watching as the birthday party proceeds because of his prior connection with the family. Colby texts Brady one last time. "I miss it."

"Then you should have stayed. The only way to come back is to leave Eli. You of all people know what Eli's done to Jordan and you know Eli's only using you to get Jordan to stop dancing. You can tell him the mission failed. We got him dancing again. To think you would to all this just for Tommy but has he ever thought about leaving?"

After that Colby left. He needed to think what he would do next. He joined Eli to save Tommy but ended up hurting his two other friends. There's only two ways to leave Eli's group one; beat Eli in a fight or two; volunteer someone to be your replacement. Colby went to be Tommy's replacement without him knowing which resulted in them both being stuck there. However Colby knew that Tommy would agree even if he knew. At this rate Tommy could beat his way out of the system but that leaves no way out for Colby.

The rest of the party went on without a hitch. That was until it was time to unwrap presents. As Lydia noticed a card by itself so she picked it up off the table, only the card didn't have her name but Jordan's on it.

"Lydia, you just open your presents." Jordan told her worrying it would spoil the mood.

"But what about your card?"

"I'll read it later. But it's your birthday. I'm excited to see what you got." Lydia opened her presents one by one first she opened the complete sewing kit gifted to her by her family. The art supplies for sketch and design were giving to her by Jaida and Ashleigh. The twins Brenna and Emma brought her GhostTown merchandise.

After all the presents were open it was time for dinner, Ashleigh volunteered to help bring the food out. Mrs. P and Ashleigh grabbed the food Mrs. P asked, "Ashleigh are you going to stay the night too?"

"I don't think so. I don't want to impose on you plus there's already three kids staying over tonight. So would there even be room for me?"

"Wrong, there is four kids sleeping over tonight. Brady is sleeping in Jordan's room and the others have decided that all four of them will sleep in Lydia's room because she has a bunk bed. And I think Natasha would let you sleep in her room if you did want to stay the night."

"Since you're insisting so much, I guess I shouldn't refuse but if Natasha says she's not okay or she's uncomfortable with me sleeping in her room please don't force her to take me in for the night."

"Don't worry, if she says no I will leave it at that. I'll ask her once we get this food out."

"Okay." So Ashleigh picked up the salads and Mrs. P grabbed the main ish that she mad, an they took the food outside and set them on the table where the snacks used to be.

After Mrs. P set down the dish, she immediately went to talk to Natasha. "Hey can Ashleigh stay in your room for tonight? It's too mean to make her drive here and back and then to the place tomorrow to pick up Jaida isn't it?"

"Of course she can stay in my room, I wouldn't want her to go through that much trouble."

"Great, I'll go tell her." But before Mrs. P could even fully turn around Natasha stops her.

"I'll tell her myself so that way she has no reason to refuse." Before Mrs. P could say anything else Natasha was already halfway across the yard to speak with Ashleigh.

"Are you spending the night too?" Natasha kicks off the conversation.

"I don't know. Your mother offered for me to stay but she gave up a space in your room. I wouldn't want to inconvenience you especially if you didn't know prior.
