Good Thinking

ZAC

I stare at this beautiful woman standing next to me holding me tight. I know that I should stand on my knee now and I almost didn't have the guts but then I saw the confidence on her face and I knew, I can do it. I can see that she is proud of what she has done to my knee and for that, I believe in her.

She smiles and then she says to me.

"Come on, you can do it"

I give her a slight smile and then I start to put pressure on my leg. I start with just a little bit of weight on it and I feel nothing. Then a little bit more and a little bit more. Before I know it, I'm standing on my leg. I can feel that there is a pain but it's not close to the kind of pain I had when she broke my knee.

It feels like a pressure more than a pain and I almost can not believe that it can be true. I turn to look at her and say.

"You are a damn miracle worker. I almost feel nothing"
