I'd been a week since Natalie and I's encounter. Let me show you how it all began. 


"Natalie." I say gasping. It was the first in 5 years that I've seen her. 5 years since Daniel cheated on me and we divorced. 


" Cassie I-" she starts then I cut her off. 


" Please Natalie, don't try making amends with me or trying to boast that you made my husband cheated on me. Or something, because I am seriously over it." I tell her through clenched teeth, tears threatening to fall. 


" That's the point Cassie, I made him cheat, he didn't willingly do it." My brows shot up in confusion. 


" What the hell are you talking about?" 


" Do you remember when I told you that my brother is in the Mafia?" I remembered when she told me that in Junior year. 


" Yes?"  I tell her still not getting it. 


" My brother is Luciano Hernandez." She says with a slight smile. Luciano Hernandez is like a freaking billionaire. He owns couple hotels, clubs and ofcourse the main building where it's a literal private hospital. He owns Hernandez & Co.


" I might have sort of brainwashed him into divorcing you so that we could be together. I loved him. I met him before you did but he thought that I was another gold digger. I told him that if he didn't divorce you then I would tell my brother to kill you. " she says with a frown. 


" I'm really sorry Cassie. All the time, I told you that I had nighttime shifts at the hospital. I actually when to Daniel's bar. I was a stripper there. Daniel came in one night and he got drunk. We both had sex and I thought that I was pregnant with his child. I threaten him and he left you because he loved you." 


I took in all that information and let out a single 'oh'. 


" Cassie we still kept in touch after we did the DNA test and he looked for you everywhere and when you finally came to his house he was desperate to win you over. Please just talk to him. " 


I looked at her for a few seconds before opening my mouth and closing it again. 


I mean he has never smiled at me yet but when he kissed my forehead it tingled and butterflies errupted in my stomach but that was just instinct. When I see him handling our children, I think about all the rest that I could have with him. 


" Earth to Cassie." Natalie says bringing me out of my head. 


" I've been calling your name for like 5 minutes now. " 


A little blonde hair boy runs up to Natalie to which she ruffles his hair and smile. 


" Cassie this is Jr, hes my son and that's Jalen, my fiance." She says gesturing to the little boy and a blonde hair man seated. 


" Those are my 3 kids, Ivy Rae, Daniel and Issac." I say gesturing to the kids who are running around the lobby. 


" Cass. Think about what I said please." 


" Yeah." I say before she hugs me to which I give her a stiff pat on the back. 


" Belle can you watch the kids?" I say asking Isabelle. 


" Yeah sure." She says before I hung up. 


After driving 30 minutes and dropping the kids off. I turn onto the main road when they are a medium amount of cars. 


I stop as the stop sign turns red. I wait a couple minutes before driving off. Out of no were a Toyota Prius smashes into the front seat missing from the opposite direction. I feel all the light fade from me.


Tell them that mommy will always love them.
