(Cora's POV)
"Slow down, Blade." I panted, stopping to catch my breath, while he just sticks his tongue out.
I rolled my eyes, "Real mature Blade, real mature."
He stopped and came back. He comes down to my eyes level, looks me in the eyes and flicked my forehead.
"Hey, what was that for?!" Rubbing my forehead.
He rolls his eyes and points behind me,
"I can still see the house from here!" He exclaimed,
I look behind me and saw he was right.
I turned back and saw that he disappeared
i groaned "Blade, you cheater!" I shouted.
I ran and found him at the front of Starbuck on his phone.
I hit him on the back of his head.
"Hey, what was that for?" He asked, rubbing his head
"For cheating, you idiot." I replied.
he shrugged "So?"
"Means you are paying" I said.
"No" he said shaking his head.
"Yes,"
"No,"
"Yes,"
"No!"
"Yes, or do I have to call mum?"
"Fine." He sighed
We go in and meet Sandy, one of our friends that work there
"Cor, Blade, how are you guys?"
"We are good, Sandy, just the usual for us."
"Ok, one Chai tea latte with a cinnamon roll for Cor and a caramel frappuccino and three caramel waffle's for Blade."
"Thanks Sandy."
"Sure thing, who is paying?"
"Blade." I replied.
"Here you go, Sandy." He said.
"Ok, bye guys"
"Bye Sandy." We replied.
We started to go home before he starts talking again, "Mom said that they have to tell you something when we get home, what do you think it is?"
"I really hope its about getting a pet," i replied.
"Ohh, that would be good, maybe a cat or a dog, or if we are lucky, a bird," he rambled on.
"Race you?" I asked.
he nodded.
"On three. One, two, three."
But I never thought what I was going to find out would change my life.
