4. Marriage info

Once everyone calmed down, I looked at Mr Wo- i mean Wyatt

"Why am I the person that is marrying your son when there are literally 6 million different people to marry him." I asked questioningly

"Well, me and Amelia have known your parents since high school and I couldn't think of a better person than you, Cora to marry our son.

You are sweet, caring, don't judge a person from their first impressions and try to find the good side of everyone.

You are strong on your opinions,

You are stubborn,

You don't care about what anyone says about and you can keep Maddox on his toes." He replied with a chuckle as Maddox sighed.

"How about you tell them when the wedding is, Dad?" Ruby added

"Ah yes, thank you Ruby. The wedding will be on the 25th of January."

"Thats about a month, though?!" Artemis exclaimed

"Yes, but we could extend the date, if we have too." Amelia replied

i just realized that Maddox has been quite quiet.

"Maddox, I have a question." I asked him

"Ask away." He replied

"Are you okay with this marriage?" I asked softly

He sighed and looked at me, "At first, I didn't want to, I wanted to be about to choose who I am going to spend the rest of my life with. Then mom told me about you and convinced me to get to know you before making any judgement about you."

I was surprised so I just nodded as Wyatt told us the details

So Maddox and I will be abroad for 3 weeks to get to know each other, the week we came back, we have to finalise the wedding plans and we get married.

I hope it is as simple as it sounds.
