Chapter 3: Time Skip

As the months went by me and Kara became really close, Corbyn kept trying to put the moves on me and I kept on blushing and mumbling excuses to escape. I eventually trusted Kara enough to share my little secret of my identity and made her take a blood oath. I assured her that I was going to tell the boys in New York. That was 2 months ago, I was the top student in my classes. I was called "nerd", "Teachers pet", "Smart Alec", and many more. I don't really care what people think about me here, cause in the end they are gonna be begging me to be their friend.

Now Kara and the boys are packing up for the flight to New York. I had already packed my bags the previous week. I just had my carry-on to pack up and get a release pass from the headmaster. I was currently on my way to his office. I looked down as I passed a group of troublemakers grafting a students locker. I felt myself trip and as I watched the floor race towards me one thought ran through my head. 'No more nice girl' and I used my falling momentum to use a tie chi move and erected myself. I felt the stares behind me and I turned my head to look at the boys and smirked then I continued on my way to the headmasters office.

I knocked on the headmaster's door, and I opened the door when he told me to enter. I walked into the sphere-like room, and took a seat in front of a long dark oak desk. After I had sat down I immediately got to the point of my visit. "I would like to have a pass for the next few weeks, I'm sure you know the reason of this request.", I said to him. The staff at the school were the only people that know about my real identity. The headmaster nodded his head and told me, "I will inform the staff to clear you of any assignments or tests during your leave". I stood up and bowed my head in thanks to the headmaster.

As I left the office and walked to the cafe a few blocks away from the campus I quickly ran through my mental list of priorities before the flight in 4 days. 'Packed check, headmaster meeting check, turn in all assignments, charge electronics, pack carry-on bag. I had a few things to finish up before I could leave for New York. When I got back to my hotel room, I quickly went about collecting things to have in my carry-on bag. I grabbed a hoodie, a book, bathroom necessities, glasses cleaner, and my electric blue hair wax. After I had organized everything in my small bag, I plugged in my tablet, laptop, air pods, and a battery pack. Then I began gathering up my assignments from the past week, and I placed them on the shelf next to the door so I wouldn't forget them. I then got into a loose tank top and a pair of leggings, turned on my bedside lamp, turned off the lights, got in bed and slowly drifted off to sleep.
