Post Race

As Hunt got out of the car, his first thought was to find George and thank him for letting him by. From his experience in other racing series, he had is fair share of teammates who would not have budged in that situation.

After a few minutes of walking down the pitlane, he had found George by his car reattaching his steering wheel.

"Hey," Hunt started, tapping his teammate on the shoulder, "Just wanted to say thank you for letting me through. "

"Yeah no problem, just playing the team game. Doesn't help any off us if I'm blocking you and slowing both of us down defending."

"Alright, but thanks anyways."

Claire: So Charles, what are your thought on the collision between you and Vandoorne?

Charles: It was honestly really unfortunate. I got pinched in and the car understeered into Vandoorne, when you don't leave space collisions like these become possible. Really unfortunate, the race looked good, and both of us were in high positions.

Claire: What are the next steps following this race?

Charles: We just have to work with the team and try harder for our next race.

Claire: Ok! Thanks!

Claire: Vandoorne, we saw an unfortunate collision between you and Leclerc. Any thoughts?

Vandoorne: Honestly, I defended my position and tried to force him tight to the apex and he just understeered into me. Nothing I could do about it. No hard feelings, I didn't leave him with much space and what's happened happened.

Claire: Do you think this incident will change how you race Leclerc in the future?

Vandoorne: I don't think anything will change. I know that Leclerc is a clean driver. This was just a racing incident, and I won't let one incident change the way I drive.

Claire: Ok! Thanks for your time.

Claire: Great comeback today William! Do you have any thoughts on the race?

William: Today very action-packed and fun, we had a great strategy call from our guys and it paid off really well. P11 start wasn't great but we worked hard and at the end of the day, we bagged a good amount of points. Big thank you to George for letting me by.

Claire: Sounds great! So what are your plans for next race?

William: We'll look through the data collected from this race and see where the car overall is struggling and work to address that.

Claire: Ok! Thanks for your time!
