Be My Mother, Even For Today

[UNAR]

"I'm sorry, son," Edison said to Unar. He didn't know what else to tell him. Was he supposed to tell his son the truth? Clearly, Borden had figured that it wasn't yet time to let the kid know about the horrors in the palace, so what was the point of starting up a fight about it?

"I'm sorry too. Sorry, I pushed too hard, I won't ask again," Unar promised his father. Of course, he wouldn't ask his father about the beast of the midlands anymore. This was the first life he had watched be taken away, so he would stay clear of it, at least within the palace.

"Just… Just go. I wanna be with my best friend. Leave us," Edison quietly pleaded with his son.

Unar didn't want to fight anymore, so he listened to his father and walked out of the room. When the lycan prince reached the hallways, he suddenly realized how empty it all was and how vulnerable his father was right now.
