Mercy Was Never An Option

* Merry Christmasss!!

[ALANOR]

"No, there isn't," Grant responded and Alanor smirked, making Criselda look at her son worriedly.

She knew what Alanor was going to do next, especially now that Grant had confirmed that there were no laws stopping him from ripping apart the rogues of the midlands. She knew her son was about to do the unthinkable, and she was tempted to stop him.

She was tempted to save him for himself but this time, she knew she couldn't.

Alanor was angry, a little too much that Criselda had felt it when they hugged.

She knew her son was in a lot of pain because of how much anger he was held in, and if these rogues were Alanor's only way to lash out and get the anger out of his chest, then she wasn't going to try and stop him.

Besides, Criselda needed Alanor to remember that he never was supposed to let his guard down, because he was at a risk of losing so many people.
