Exiled from Udrad after the public stoning of his parents, Alanor Wynter swore on his parents' graves, to bring the lycan kingdom to its knees. So he became the rogue they despised and the devil they all feared. 

He was a monster, but they had created him, and he was bad. Alanor was the kind of evil that no dictionary even had a description for yet. 

He had vowed against Udrad's peace until he got his revenge, and no one would stop him, not even the mate the fates had forced on him. 

After all, he didn't believe in the fated mates.

"Great, it's you again," Alanor said as he looked at the woman on the other side of the door. She had been adamant in helping him to the point that she was pissing him off. But even then Alanor couldn't get himself to send her away because of the warmth she came with.

He wanted to let her know that he didn't want anything to do with her, but how was he supposed to, when she always carried strawberries with her, like she knew something Alanor wasn't telling anyone?

"Boss, I see the strawberry woman is back again," Ferhat said with a slow laugh, making Alanor let out a laugh too.

With these people, he was free to be anyone he wanted and even though his laughter was never going to be genuine, it at least reminded him of a place we wanted to be. The arms he wanted to be in and the family he so yearned to be a part of.
